A Hostile Takeover Is Coming Just Before The Launch Of Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. Kratos’ Journey Will Be An Every Evolving On In God Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War A new developer diary for God Of War is here to further show us just how Kratos’ Journey has come since the closing of God Of War III If for some reason you have yet to catch on that the next God Of War will be changing up things in many ways other than graphics, combat, and mechanics then we have yet another developer diary here to help drive that home. More in the how Kratos has evolved as a character kind of way and no other changes to the franchise that Santa Monica Studio has for us. We all knew he was going to be more "evolved" in this God Of War, but now we get to hear more on how he made it to the place he is in now since last we saw him in the third full title. Read More...

Agony Will Be Getting Some Censorship For The Console Versions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony It looks like console players of Agony will be seeing things in a few different ways, as Agony has had to be censored to be able to come to the platforms While it may not be the reason given for the delay of Agony, it looks like we may have found the true reason we are all waiting a bit longer for this title to launch and it is sadly censorship. At least that is what I am presuming here and not directly what Madmind Studio has said but it makes sense now. As it turns out, they have had to go through a few changes with Agony to get it to a place where it can release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Spider-Man’s Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Siegfried Will Not Surrender To The Nightmare In SoulCalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War The difficulty settings for God Of War are back and we get to see how they will add an extra level of challenge to God Of War when we play Long-time fans of God Of War always have loved challenging themselves and other on playing the game at some insane difficulties. They are offered up by the dev team for a reason and they are there to make the whole experience a bit more challenging. Staying true to form, Santa Monica Studio is keeping with this element in the new God Of War and now we know how hard the game could be to beat. Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption’s Release Has Been Pushed Back A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been pushed back but at least gamers on the Switch will have the chance to give Sinner a play If you were gearing up to play Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption on April 25th here…then you may want to put the brakes on that. It looks like the game is no longer hitting that date and will now be looking at a Q3 2018 release date to get in on this new Boss Battler title with a twist Dark Star Games and Another Indie are working on. That seems like quite the delay for a game that was supposed to land just a few weeks from now. The bigger reason given for the delay is that it will now be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch all at the same time. Read More...

Overkill’s The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

Detroit New cast interviews for Detroit: Become Human are out there and it gives us yet another look at how they all made the world of Detroit: Become Human come to life As we get closer to Detroit: Become Human hitting the PS4, we get more to look at and know for the game. This time it is not so much as from Quantic Dream on what we get but more from the cast of the game. The people who put their likeness and acting chops in there so we can all experience the life-like qualities that Detroit: Become Human can bring.
