It Is Almost Time To Survive The Hostile World Of Seeking Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Seeking Dawn Just before the launch of Seeking Dawn, we have a nice bit of gameplay to let us see what to expect when we play Seeking Dawn in VR Next week on July 12th we are going to see the launch of Seeking Dawn on the various VR platforms we have out there. This would be the next title in the list of Multiverse Inc's works and we have all seen so very little for it so far. So little, in fact, we now have the first gameplay footage for Seeking Dawn to look at and take it to see if we are going to be adding it to the list of our HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or PlayStation VR titles next week. A fairly quick turnaround for all of this, but it may just pay off if you like to explore new worlds, see new creatures, and shoot everything in sight to make sure you can find your lost team on the unexplored planet. Monstrum It was recently announced that Monstrum would be making its way onto the PS4 and Xbox One so even more gamers can experience what Monstrum has to offer If you have missed out on Monstrum since it first launched on PC so long ago, it looks like you will have another chance to give the game a go. At least if you are interested in playing the game on the PS4 or Xbox One as it looks like SOEDESCO is finally bringing the game over to these platforms. It did seem to take a while there, but Team Junkfish will finally get their game on the consoles so even more gamers can experience what Monstrum has to offer in terms of a Rogue-like Survival Horror title. The Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug In The Anthem E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Anthem The E3 demo for Anthem has made its way online for us all to see and dig into, as there may have been things in Anthem you missed before This year at E3, Anthem was one of the larger titles many were talking about and getting hyped up for even with as little as there had been before the show started. It is always weird to see a whole lot of hype build up with such little information before, but this is another BioWare title so I guess fans will be fans. That all said, EA had Anthem down around the show for fans to try to get some hands-on time with or just see what they were getting all hyped up about. Read More...

Past Cure Is Getting Updated To Flesh Out More Of The Story & Sanity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Past Cure A major update is coming for Past Cure and it aims to fix some of the big issues that Past Cure came with when it originally launched Maybe you remember, or maybe you do not remember the nice, small title called Past Cure from a few months back. It launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and it seemed to have so much potential but left a lot of reviewers wondering a few things Phantom 8 Studio did in development. You can read that as Past Cure was not the best or worst received title of the time as it seemed to have a few holes in it or something that needed to be fleshed out. That was at least partly my take on it back then and I was hoping that something would be done to push it over into a title everyone needed to play. Read More...

Sooner or later, we will have the full roster as we loom ever closer to SoulCalibur VI's October 19th release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Call Of Duty May Be Getting Its Single-Player Back In The Near Future
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A recent job posting for a known Call Of Duty developer points that there may be single-player back in the next Call Of Duty title The next Call Of Duty title has not even fully been revealed or launched yet and we are already looking toward the next possible one. At least the next one coming from Infinity Ward in terms of if we will see single-player make its way back into the franchise. Again, we have yet to see how a Call Of Duty title will go without a solid campaign mode as it looks like Black Ops IIII is going to be the first outing that Activision will be going with here on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Nonetheless, it looks like speculation on the next title having a campaign mode again has started to pop up again. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 4th of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Shenmue The re-release date for Shenmue I & II has been set and you can currently pre-order the Shenmue bundle to get ready for the full release The release date for the re-release of Shenmue I & II on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC has been set down now as August 21st. It also looks like with this announcement, SEGA has opened up pre-orders for this re-release of the game through all of the various options one would expect there to be on all of those platforms. All of which should be good news for all of those fans of the Shenmue franchise even though it does not look like it has been truly updated for the current generation platforms they will be coming to. I am sure that will not mater for those who are looking for the nostalgia of the titles. Read More...

by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 3rd of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Devotion A new psychological horror title, Devotion, is announced and Devotion is bringing with it the horrors of the 80s and religion have to offer We will soon have another horror title to look forward to as we just had the announcement of Devotion pop up here. This will be the next title in the house of Red Candle Games and it looks like it will take us to the 1980s in Taiwan to play out some new puzzle-solving adventure in a first-person game. Devotion also looks to have some other religious overtones mixed in as the story will focus on a family of three going through some kind of event. It really is not all too clear as of yet, but the game is coming. Read More...

More Of The “New Weird” Will Be Introduced In Control’s Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Control The first developer diary for Control is here to explain how the team went about constructing the world and story of Control So far, what has been shown for Control has been impressive and it looks like we could be getting ready for another great hit from Remedy. It does seem to tick off a lot of what we all have come to expect from the developer and now that their title will be coming to the PS4 on top of the Xbox One and PC, it looks like it could all be more promising for the team to do well. All that needs to happen now is to make sure that the world and story of Control work just as well as the mechanics and we are all golden for a nice new franchise to pine over. Not the loftiest of demands, but it is all something that we are all waiting for to find out the full details. Read More...

Words May Not Dictate Life Within The Quiet Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The Quiet Man A minor update to The Quiet Man may provide a bit more to the core of the game and just what we may be experiencing in The Quiet Man If you caught the live stream that Square Enix had during E3 then you most likely caught the small teaser for the upcoming game called The Quiet Man. By small, I am mean that it showed very little in terms of actual gameplay and focused a bit more on the live action video that was there to tease it all. It was strange, but The Quiet Man caught the eyes of many even though it all looks to be a brawler, based on the video at least, and that the protagonist may be deaf and/or mute. Read More...

Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen to be exact will be joining the fight of Jump Force as you can see down in the screenshots. Not the largest of surprises as I expect to see all of the IPs that Bandai Namco have access to will be joining in when the game launches in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Kicks Some More Gameplay Into Your Faces
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed New gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here and it gives the rest of us a taste of what was on the floor at E3 for this Assassin’s Creed title There is no denying that we had a good showing of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey out at E3 even though it was one of the worst kept secrets of the pre-show. It always seems the case for this franchise as of late and Ubisoft either needs to embrace it or figure out a way to keep that all hidden before large shows like this. That is not why we are here though, as while we had some good gameplay and demos to experience for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the floor, not everyone out there had a chance to see or experience them.
