Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is the most recent HD remastering for Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and it is releasing tomorrow (7/22) on the PS4 in the North American region. Wednesday (7/23) for all those EU regional people and TBA this year for everyone else who wants to replay one of the games that started my next-gen-now-way-last-gen gaming love. That would be back on the PS1 days back in 1997. Read More...

It Looks Like The Walking Dead Is Getting Insanely 'Real' Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots have been released for The Walking Dead and it shows some rather dire scenes We have a few new screenshots for the next episode of The Walking Dead and it looks like there are going to be a few more deaths to affect us all. That is at least if we take that away from one of these new screenshots here. In this specific instance it looks like Kenny may be back on the market in the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead. If it is a bite or something else is still left to the imagination of the new episode but things do not look good for the group. Read More...

Will PlayStation Now Be Viable For Every Gamer?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
I take a look at the updated PlayStation Now Beta and here is what I think of its current state PlayStation Now was announced at the beginning of this year and was another huge focus at E3 a few weeks ago. It makes perfect sense as the service is slated to go into a "public beta" here in just over a month. That is July 31st for those out there who still had no clue. For those with a clue, then you would now that it is and has been in a closed beta since the first announcement. Read More...

We have you covered with the live stream below Here with go with another amazing (hopefully) conference and this time it is for Sony and all things PlayStation. Everything from the hardware to the software; I am ready for it all so bring it on Sony. My bigger hope is that on top of awesome games Sony announces fixes to the PS4 that will replace items that still require me to fire up the PS3 still. Read More...

See How Beautiful Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty Looks In The E3 Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty gets a new E3 trailer to show off how beautiful the HD remake is looking up until now While I am not always the biggest fan of the "HD remake" after seeing the following trailer I can fully get behind Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty here. As memory serves the original Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee looked spectacular using today's standards as a guide. At least if you could take what was on our standard resolution TVs back then and properly upscale it for our new high resolution/4K TVs. We all know that wouldn't look well at all if that was all that was going to be done for New 'N' Tasty. Read More...

Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Coming To PlayStation In August
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been officially announced that PlayStation owners will be getting Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare this coming August Originally there was a rumor being spread that Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare was finally making the jump to the PlayStation platform. EA was tweeting out mock images of PlayStation owned franchises with the PvZ twist to them but then left everything to speculation. The internet being the internet totally began the speculation and made the short leap of logic that this was some form of announcement that Garden Warfare was on its way to the PS4 and PS3. Here are those images just so you can see and make the simple leap of logic that people were at one point claiming some pretty outlandish ideas about Plants Vs. Read More...

Fear For Clementine With The News Screens For The Walking Dead: Episode 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of May 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There are some new teaser images for The Walking Dead episode 3 and it looks like Clem may be in peril. Up until now with The Walking Dead from Telltale we have been on edge for our little protagonist's wellbeing. The entire first season of the episodic game was all about making sure she was safe and sound and now that we have control of her in season two we are in direct control of that. With these latest teaser images for episode three of the second season it looks like Clem may be in a lot more harm's way than before. Ok, well maybe not so much for Clem as the whole of The Walking Dead would crumble if the main protagonist up and died but that doesn't mean she can't be maimed. Read More...

A Whole Lot More Hacking And Sawing For The Chainsaw Incident
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There is a new gameplay trailer for The Chainsaw Incident and it shows off everything from the menus to more combat. I have brought up The Chainsaw Incident multiple times before. More and more I am falling in love with the visuals of the game but with this latest pre-alpha game play trailer I think the people over at Crazy Piranha are starting to really get the game mechanics up to snuff. Before the combat looked very sluggish and very 'canned'. Now it looks quite a bit updated but I'll let the following trailer speak for itself and let you judge. Read More...

More Details On The Chainsaw Incident Have Emerged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We now have ten characters confirmed for The Chainsaw Incident. Here's the list for you to peruse. It has been about a month now that I brought you a look at The Chainsaw Incident. If you don't know what the game is I'll save you some time from 'Googling' it. The Chainsaw Incident is a 2D fighting game coming to the PS4 and PS Vita from Crazy Piranha and Or1go. It had a trailer that had a bit of sluggish looking combat but the art style looks to completely make up for that at this point. That should get you back to speed. Read More...

Not to be left out of the Valentine's Day love, the HD versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 coming to the Vita on March 18th have also unleashed a trailer showcasing the love story in the game. This Week In Gaming 2/3/14 — 2/7/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of February 2014 - 10:03 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week. Here's a recap of what we covered in gaming. It's been a busy week in gaming here. We've had an awards show. We've had some new games out for review. We had a few new writers contribute. Hells, there was even a day where it seemed that all we were getting in the news was from Square Enix. You know the day I am talking about. Well, sometimes things fall through the cracks or are blocked on Facebook as per The Zuckerberg initiative. Read More...
