Time To Gawk At The View Darksiders II Will Be Giving Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of March 2012 - 05:12 PM ]
I have to admit that every time there is something new for Darksiders II, visually, I find it a little hard to actually write something about it. I actually have a loss of words because the visuals of the clips and screens speak volumes more than I ever could and I am normally very long winded. This also makes me have to admit that when there is new stuff there is a delay on posting about it. Given all that, we have a new CGI Trailer as well as a newish Dev Diary for the game. The diary showing more or less the scale of the game world and some of the environments. Read More...

Have A Good Look At The Secret World's Character Creation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of March 2012 - 01:11 PM ]
It's been a little quiet on The Secret World front for a while. I think we are due some new info or visuals. Don't you? Funcom did recently have a showcasing of the character creation system and a bit of actual game play, but it was for press only. Most of you out there probably didn't get a chance to check it out, I know I didn't. That is until now. Funcom must have felt bad that got to see the new stuff so they up and decided to post part of the presentation online. Read More...

BioShock Infinite Using Silent Alarms Now With Their New Heavy Hitter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of March 2012 - 05:46 PM ]
Last week we got a few videos showing a few of the suped-up enemies of BioShock Infinite. The Handyman and Motorized Patriot to be specific. Keeping things going here, Irrational has brought us yet another "Heavy Hitter" from the game. These ones are called the Boys of Silence. At first glance they don't seem to imposing and only a bit on the bizarre side of things. This is BioShock after all. What is interesting her though is that these seem to be what will be taking over for those damned alarms from the first two titles. Read More...

Fear is a feeling we have all experienced throughout our lives. It creeps up on us in the dark of night. It claws at our backs when the unknown approaches us. Fear is a very natural emotion in the realm of the real world but why is fear such an almighty powerful force within the realm of video games? Specifically why do we gamers cower in fear from change? Change is a natural force of life. Read More...

BioShock Infinite Bringing Out The Heavy Hitters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of March 2012 - 05:13 PM ]
With the official release date set now is as good of time as any to start the news and information flowing for BioShock Infinite. I for one am glad because I was getting tired of watching the same E3 2011 footage re-hashed and produced as something new. So I thank you Irrational for giving us a look at the first two new enemies we will be facing in the game amongst what looks like a decent sized list. First up, in case you didn't see it last week, is the Motorized Patriot. I'll admit when I first saw this thing I was a little underwhelmed at first. Read More...

Assassin's Creed III Officially Announced. Here's The Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of March 2012 - 05:04 PM ]
Last week we saw a load of "leaked" information for Assassin's Creed III. In fact if you look below there are a few more screen shots that we didn't get up before the official announcement. Take a look and then move on to what Ubisoft wanted to be the official announcement. Now that is out of the way, let's move on. While not much more is given out about the game there is a nice new announcement trailer showing how the new engine is looking. Just to place it out there in layperson terms this whole trailer was made using the game engine and not pre-rendered scenes. Read More...

by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 2nd of March 2012 - 06:12 PM ]
The guys over at Irrational Games have just put up a write up on their website that quite simply says "BioShock Infinite Release Date Announced." Excuse me while I go squeal like a little school girl at a Justin Beiber concert. Ladies and gentlemen it gives me great honor to announce to you guys that the release date of BioShock Infinite is October 16th, 2012 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Mark your calendars, quit your jobs, and put your social lives on hold. Ken Levine said that "After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition…BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can't wait for fans to get their hands on it. Is Assassin's Creed III Taking On The American Revolutionary War?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of March 2012 - 02:00 PM ]
While it was chalked up as a rumor as of yesterday, it looks like we can confirm that Assassin's Creed III will be taking place during the American Revolutionary War.  That is, if we are to rely on the recently released box art for the game and the "leaked" Best Buy promotional poster. You can see both below. Go ahead and look I won't judge you too much. Any further details about the game are still sketchy at this point, but this is something we can glean from the box art and poster. Read More...

That's One Brutal Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Trailer!
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 27th of February 2012 - 06:42 PM ]
So, I just finished watching the new "Brutal" Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City trailer and it has sparked my imagination, surprisingly. I want to know what was the most brutal, misanthropic, hellish and death splattered concrete path you've ever taken in a video game. Did you sit in front of a grunt in Halo and cackle maniacally as you emptied clip after clip of assault rifle ammo into its lifeless corpse and watch your frame rate drop hysterically due to the massive amounts of blood? Did you play Splatterhouse? That's a treat in its own right. Read More...

New Borderlands 2 Trailer Brings The 'WubWub'
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 27th of February 2012 - 12:38 PM ]
The guys over at Gearbox Software have released a new trailer for their upcoming sequel to their smash hit Borderlands simply titled Borderlands 2. I loved playing Borderlands, the questlines; the stories and the loot were all hilariously amazing. Not to mention it has one of my favorite zombie stories ever, Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC which is just how a zombie story should be. The new trailer features a lot of "Wub Wub" dubstep garbage, but it can be easily muted via the volume bar on your player. Read More...
