Overwatch The Overwatch closed beta has now been dated and the process that players will be able to help shape Overwatch has been detailed out a bit more We've seen all the heroes and villains of Overwatch in action and now it is time to play them and help tweak them with the announced beta for the game. We have more gameplay for Overwatch to show off three more characters as well as a bit of a wrap up on the core gameplay for Overwatch Here we go with even more gameplay and characters for Overwatch here to gawk at. Not only is it more gameplay for the game but it is also a good look at the 'non-female-stereotype' female-stereotype character that everyone praised Blizzard for when she was first announced. I am talking about Zarya the heavy Russian combatant that pretty much looks and plays like every other heavy Russian stereotypical female character in video games. But hey, Overwatch is made by a studio with such a following that no one will care about that and just spin it up on the PC to enjoy for decades as it is another new IP of theirs in the end. Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games What a week we have had in video games here huh? We had Fallout 4 officially announced. We had XCOM 2officially announced. We had a whole lot of Batman: Arkham Knight news and videos. We even were able to get a whole bunch more on some new video game characters in the way of Overwatch and Drawn To Death. All of those characters have yet to be seen in a video games as of yet so they are all knew to us and deserving of the time. Two more views of Overwatch's gameplay have been released and this time it is for Overwatch's Hanzo and McCree Looks like the character highlights for Overwatch will be on a constant stream of release here as we have two more matches to watch and two more characters being highlighted. In this case Blizzard is showing us off the Sniper-esq Hanzo and straight-out-of-western McCree. These of course are my descriptions and not that from the developer and solely based of the following footage as well as stereotyping that can be seen for each character. Another gameplay video for Overwatch has been released and this time shows off the angelic Mercy for Overwatch Earlier we had a look at Zenyatta for Overwatch and it was a bit jarring and a letdown for me. I was so very excited and then seeing things in action kind of let me down. At least until now as I have seen it looks like it was only the character there that has me on edge about Overwatch. I say this because now we have a good look at how Mercy will handle in the game; at least in terms of the pre-alpha footage that was used to show off the match that focuses completely on this healing angel that looks to play a lot like all of the medics from Evolve. While the medic isn't usually my class of choice in games like Overwatch, the following footage definitely shows me that I may have been too quick to judge based on the previous gameplay that Blizzard has sent our way. During the Blizzard PAX East Panel it was revealed that there are two new characters for their upcoming shooter Overwatch In case you were not able to catch what Blizzard had to show for Overwatch at PAX East, then you should know that there have been two new characters announced for the game. Not too surprising given the past of Overwatch and the fact that we all want to have as many options when it comes to our shooters online.
