We Happy Few Is Here To Show More Of Its Own Duality
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of June 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
We Happy Few The PrE3 trailer for We Happy Few is here and it shows that We Happy Few is still on its way after the many delays it has been hit with We finally have more to look at for We Happy Few here just before E3. It, like many other videos we will have before the event, is not too much in terms of anything new or mind-breaking for the game. No, it is more in the line of a reminder that Compulsion Games is still working on it and will have more to show at the event directly. At least it is safe to think that as it is only about fifty-seconds of gameplay for We Happy Few that we have here and it would be a bit of a waste to give us all just this and then nothing at one of the larger events of the year. Here we are under a year later and the game is out there again with CremaGames bringing it on over to the consoles as well. Sadly, we missed out on Immortal Redneck the first time around but I guess that is why we are back with a review of the new-ish version of the game as it hops onto the PS4 and Xbox One. It looks like the game is going to be delayed until sometime outside of 2018 now as Double Fine has expanded not only their team for the game but also the scope. You can read that as they are making Psychonauts 2 bigger and better than we originally thought it would be. Read More...

Another Portal Game Is Kind Of Coming With Bridge Constructor Portal
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Portal Get ready to use those Portal guns again as it looks like that franchise has crossed with another to bring us Bridge Constructor Portal It has been a while since we had anything truly new for the Portal franchise in terms of a full game. It is crazy to think that it has been six years since the last full entry into the IP and at most, we have had little links back and forth with characters, items, and Easter Eggs to entice us all a bit more. If you are like me, you are sitting there hoping for a full new title into the franchise, but for now we are going to have to sit and take games like what Headup Games has for us here. Now we have Bridge Constructor Portal to look at and get another taste of the IP through their other game's mechanics but with all the fun GlaDOS and Aperture bring to the world. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We Happy Few The second major update for We Happy Few has been released and this one adds in some requested items as well as adding to We Happy Few a new area to explore Great news for all of those gamers out there still enjoying We Happy Few. It looks like there is now even more to enjoy as a new major update for the game has been pushed out there that adds a whole new area to explore and quest on. Not only that, but some other great things have been added into the mix so that you can now stop pestering Compulsion Games for a bit so they can double down on making We Happy Few a final project and not an early access thing that we have right now. When you force the developers to look at things that could be left alone for now it only pushes the final launch out just that much further. Read More...

Psychonauts 2 Adds A Publisher To The List & Aims For A 2018 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Psychonauts 2 A new deal for Psychonauts 2 has been struck adding in a major publisher and setting the release window for Psychonauts 2 to 2018 at some point It looks like Psychonauts 2 could potentially be an even larger title than we thought as not only has it raised enough funds from the general gaming community, but now it looks like the game is getting another major bit of funding with a new publisher agreement. It has just been announced that Double Fine and Starbreeze have entered into an agreement to add $8 million USD to the funds to make Psychonauts 2 above and beyond what has already been raised on Fig. It doesn't look like this will alter any of the existing things set up through the crowd funding and investing site but it will allow for a larger budget and hopefully a bigger and better game in 2018. Sundered Has Been Announced And Test Your Sanity And Survival Skills
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Sundered A new title, Sundered, has been announced and Sundered looks to bring back some of the great Metroid and Castlevania platforming to us all In the mix of all the larger titles that are being announced and shown off here as of late it is a bit refreshing to see a smaller title like Sundered get the full announcement and everything. This would be the follow up title from Thunder Lotus Games here that brings us back into the Metroid and Castlevania style of gameplay all with some amazing hand-drawn art. I'm not talking that Sundered has hand-drawn art here to look at in terms of concept but that the game is going to have that look and feel in the final game when it launches in 2017 for the PS4, Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
