Spider-Man Is Suiting Up Again In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of November 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new Spider-Man trailer is here from Paris Games Week and this one shows us who Spider-Man actually is as well as some of the supporting cast After much waiting and guessing, we finally know who this Spider-Man is going to be in the new game coming from Insomniac Games. Not only that, but we also have a new trailer for the game out of Paris Games Week all to show us that it will be another Peter Parker story but it will host a plethora of supporting cast as well as other playable characters. All of this because, and I agree, the best Spider-Man stories do come from events that cause both the hero and secret identity to cross over and this is just what this PS4 game is looking to do. We will know a lot more as we head into 2018, but the team has been very adamant on this point and now we get to see it all a bit more. Read More...

It Is Time To Look Under The Mask For The Upcoming Spider-Man Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new behind the scenes video for the next Spider-Man game has been released and it shows us more of the kind of Spider-Man we will get to play Another huge title that we are all anxiously waiting for is Spider-Man and after a great showing at E3 this year, it looks like there was a little more to be handed out but saved for D23. That is at least that Insomniac Games was able to show the world a bit more of the behind the scenes look of the game during that event and also dive into a little more of the story on where we are in the game. We already knew that this wasn't going to be a Spider-Man origin story nor a game that tied into the most recent film, but it does seem like there is a bit to it all in the end. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions â Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. Just like the Days Gone demo, I've added in the original gameplay trailer for Spider-Man that was shown and then will dive into the differences that were shown and explained behind the closed doors of the showroom. Review â Ratchet & Clank [Blu-Ray]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Ratchet & Clank has recently hit the small screens of home with new content. We had a chance to sit down and break the film down piece by piece. Here is our review of Ratchet & Clank Maybe you remember back when Ratchet & Clank first came out and that there was a feature film that was slated to launch with it. It did launch in theaters shortly after the video game's launch and Insomniac Games had its IP all over the place for a short time. As films always do, Ratchet & Clank left the big screen and we were left with only the video game to keep us coming. Read More...

New Spider-Man Is In The Works But Not A Film Tie-In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Spider-Man During E3 it was revealed that Spider-Man was getting yet another title in the mix but this won't be a Spider-Man game tied into anything but the general lore Another one of the huge surprises out of E3 was the announcement of a new Spider-Man game coming into the mix. Maybe not a huge surprise given the agreement between Sony and Marvel for the IP but the bigger one would be that Insomniac Games is doing the building and that it will not be linked into the new film at all. In fact, this Spider-Man title will be a completely standalone title and unsurprisingly available for the PS4 sometime in the future. How long into the future is of course a good question as this is still a working title for the game but it would make sense to use the synergy of the new film; so maybe July of 2017… Of course as this is just an announcement and a tease for the new Spider-Man title, information for the game is still sparse. Two New VR Titles, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, Are Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of April 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Feral Rites Insomniac is working on two more VR experiences, Feral Rites & The Unspoken, for the Oculus and both Feral Rites & The Unspoken looks to bring us something completely new Fresh off their most recent amazing release it looks like Insomniac Games has two more games/experiences for us later this year in terms of Feral Rites and The Unspoken. Both of which will be titles for the Oculus technologies and feature very different forms of gameplay and experiences. Of course that would be the case and if it wasn't for the fact that all of the news broke together we would have wasted your time talking about Feral Rites and then go into a whole other posting about The Unspoken. Ratchet & Clank's Story Will Be A Bit Different Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank A new story trailer for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it looks like it will be a bit different than the Ratchet & Clank film's story but for good reasons Up to now the joke about Ratchet & Clank's story has been that it is a game based on a film based on a game. Insomniac Games has been very upfront about that in all of their promotions and interviews so there is no surprise there. But it looks like things may be a bit different in terms of story between the game and the film that the game is based on. Hopefully you can follow along with all of that as plain and simple the PS4 very of Ratchet & Clank's story is going to deviate in quite some ways than the film's. Read More...

Insomniac's Next Title Has Been Announced As Song Of The Deep
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Song Of The Deep Another title from Insomniac has been announced called Song Of The Deep and we have the first trailer for Song Of The Deep as well as how this game will be played out It looks like Insomniac Games has been working on more than we thought over since their last major release as now we have another title from them on the way in form of Song Of The Deep. This is a brand new IP for them in the gameplay style of "Metroidvania" that takes place in an underwater setting where we follow the tale of Merryn who is trying to find her father who is lost in the depths of the sea. Not a horrible kind of setting for Song Of The Deep although I will say the tease and name did lead me to think we were going to see a horror game but first impressions are not always correct. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of January 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank The release date for Ratchet & Clank has been set and we have some more groovy Ratchet & Clank gameplay footage to get us all pumped for the reboot If you were wondering about any of the similarities that the Ratchet & Clank film will have to the reboot video game then you can add the release date to the mix of things as it look like we are set for and April 12th release date for the PS4 title. Of course as this is a reboot and not a remastering of the original Ratchet & Clank we have more to look forward to from Insomniac Games for this new game than just pretty new graphics. Some of which will be set by the film and game to reset the origin story that many PlayStation fans have grown to love. Read More...

New & Groovy Gameplay Footage For Ratchet & Clank Shown Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank Some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank has been released and it shows off some of the new and classic weapons of Ratchet & Clank First we have a new trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie and now we have a bit more of the gameplay for the title that Insomniac Games is currently working on to go along with the film's release. Of course that doesn't mean that we should be looking forward to nothing but a film tie-in for Ratchet & Clank but some form of a decent game for the PS4. Of course you can be the judge of that yourself as it looks like we have some new gameplay footage for Ratchet & Clank in the form of what looks like basic B-roll most likely for Paris Games Week. There Is Going To Be A Ratchet & Clank Film Tie-In Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
The first trailer for the Ratchet & Clank tie-in game for the Ratchet & Clank film based off the Ratchet & Clank franchise has been released with great humor The title kind of says it all but we have our first look at the Ratchet & Clank game for the PS4 that will be launching sometime along with the Ratchet & Clank film next year. The film of course is hitting theaters on April 29th of 2016 and seeing as this game is linked to the events and story that the film will be portraying it will be safe to assume that Insomniac Games will be wrapping it up and sending it out for packaging at least sometime around then. That does make perfect sense does it not? Read More...

It's The Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines In Sunset Overdrive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The latest bit of DLC for Sunset Overdrive has been released and it is titled Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines as you could expect With a game like Sunset Overdrive everything can be treated like an April Fool's joke as that is just kind of how the game is. It is the flare that Insomniac Games was going for and they achieved it. Thankfully we have some new DLC for Sunset Overdrive that is anything but an April Fool's day joke even though the title will make you question the validity of that claim. The title being Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines. Read More...
