Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site I don't think there is a gamer out there that can claim this wasn't a huge week for all things video games. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. With this I am talking about the cancellation of Scalebound, but at least we had all kinds of great news for the Nintendo Switch, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. Injustice 2 The Injustice 2 release date rumors have been put to rest as Injustice 2 now has an official release date for the Americas It looks like all of those rumors for Injustice 2 releasing on March 28th have been put to rest. Not only has NetherRealm Studios' game director stepped out to state that the dates listed online were false, but he went one step further and gave us all the actual date; something that we wish would happen every time a huge rumor crops up. None the less though, it looks like Injustice 2 will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th of this year. Injustice 2 A new breakdown video for Injustice 2 has been released and this one showcases Injustice 2's version of Supergirl in action and explains a bit of her moves & combos It's been a while since we had something new to see for Injustice 2 and I know I was hoping that we would have seen the roster expanded a bit more by now. Especially since the recent PSX or The Game Awards would have been a perfect place for NetherRealm Studios to show off some new and old characters coming to the game. Injustice 2 Two more characters have been added to the Injustice 2 roster with a classic character coming back for Injustice 2 and a new one joining the ranks Here we go with another big gaming convention and yet another two more characters added to the list for Injustice 2. Keeping with their tradition it looks like NetherRealm Studios has given us yet another alum to the franchise and another major character making their debut. Injustice 2 At SDCC Injustice 2 received two more characters into the mix with a classic character and a new one just for Injustice 2 fitting into the story Given that SDCC is all about the comic books, or at least should be, it makes it the fitting place to see two more characters added to the roster of Injustice 2. So far we've only seen six characters make the leap from NetherRealm Studios' last title to the new one with about half of them being completely new to the franchise altogether. Injustice 2 While at E3 I was able to see Injustice 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Injustice 2 It was "leaked" and then we got some gameplay to look at just before E3 but I was able to sit down and actually have a good look at Injustice 2 on the show floor. It wasn't anything playable sadly but it was gameplay where NetherRealm Studios went into all the ins and outs of the updates and changes that will be coming. Not only that but we had a look at a few of the new characters coming to Injustice 2 here when it launches next year for the PS4 and Xbox One. Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This was a rough week, personally, but at least we had a whole lot of video games to keep everything flowing. We had a few confirmations like Watch Dogs 2 and Injustice 2 coming for E3 next week and we also had some great updates to other titles like XCOM 2 and Call Of Cthulu. This is also just the tip of the ice berg that will be the reveals and updates for video games though as we will be flushed with many more here in short order. Injustice 2 After many 'leaks' Injustice 2 has been officially announced and it looks like Injustice 2 is bringing a lot more than just more combat Even though some of the thunder was taken away for the announcement of Injustice 2 it is here and hitting just as hard as the "gods" we will get to place into the mix.
