This Week In Gaming 2/3/14 — 2/7/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of February 2014 - 10:03 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week. Here's a recap of what we covered in gaming. It's been a busy week in gaming here. We've had an awards show. We've had some new games out for review. We had a few new writers contribute. Hells, there was even a day where it seemed that all we were getting in the news was from Square Enix. You know the day I am talking about. Well, sometimes things fall through the cracks or are blocked on Facebook as per The Zuckerberg initiative. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
If you have ever wanted to fully take your PlayStation 4 games on the go with your PS Vita then here is a hack for you. Most of this was thought up by a young child. When the PlayStation 4 was first noted to be able to allow for remote play I was all stoked with the promise it could bring. More in the terms of being able to keep my PS4 games going no matter what is going on in my real world. Yes you can read that as I want to keep gaming as I poo. Colorful, I know. Read More...

It's been down for over a week now. I have questions. You have questions. Hells, we all have questions. It would be insane not to have questions about what is going on with the hacked PSN. Hackers Ruin The PS3 For Everyone?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of March 2010 - 08:17 PM ]
The following words are my own opinions and not those of AggroGamer and its staff. A month or two ago, it was announced that someone had figured out how to crack the PS3 to allow for home-brews and "pirated"/backed up PS2 and PS3 games to be played on the system. It was not explained how for a week or two after the announcement that it could be done in a way that could not be patched. But this isn't the news here. The news here is that Sony, after stating it wouldn't, is going to force "Fat" PS3 owners to update so they can no longer install another OS on the system. Read More...

Co-Op Hack and Slash Gets a Penalty
by Kevin [ Tuesday, 25th of August 2009 - 07:22 PM ]
DataBox Games: Nine guys in their mid-20s on an island off Sweden. They are all attending Gotland University and working on their final thesis for their Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. Why is this important? Because much like the current wave of independent titles that flood the Xbox Marketplace - they are just a bunch of people with a love for games trying to deliver a unique experience. They don't have a major machine behind them, but they have a passion for crafting something that we can all get into and as such are definitely worth promoting around these parts. The game that they are currently working on is Penalty of Heroes, which I believe is their 26th title; most of the previous 25 have been made in ten weeks or less and have more fun crammed into them then a great majority of bigger budget titles. It is beginning to look a lot like XMAS
by Stephanie Naboshek [ Friday, 19th of June 2009 - 08:50 PM ]
It's no secret that Blizzard has been playing around and changing dates for the epic release of Star Craft II. Well great news for fans. In a recent interview with the Swedish Press2Play.TV, Star Craft II looks to be having a Holiday release at the end of this year if things are "ready". "We don't like to ship our games unless they're ready, but we're trying our best to get it out before the end of the year" Blizzard admits. "But it's inevitably up to the fans to tell us when it's ready." When asked about the Beta, Blizzard didn't give a direct response but they did say "We're not years away... Read More...

HACK Ads Invade CAL'S Website
by Stephanie Naboshek [ Tuesday, 10th of June 2008 - 09:48 PM ]
For anyone familiar with most any website, Google Ads is probably a common distraction. The Cyberathlete Amateur League aka CAL, proved today more than ever that it's no exception to the mayhem brought upon by Google's "selection" for the ads generated. Today these lovely ads gracefully advertised "Hacks" on their CS Intermediate division's page in a display of irony that can only be responded by with plenty of laughs. "GET THE BEST WORKING CS HACKS" ...while you check your messages, division news and download the Anti-Cheat System? Read More...

For those iPhone fanatics out there, some hope has finally emerged in the lines of TOTAL FREEDOM, that is, freedom from Apple's restrictions built into the iPhone. The developer team of the new iPhone "Pwnage Tool" have finally made some releases on their crazy new software.
