Nico + Ryu + The Force x Zombies = Platinum
by Kevin [ Thursday, 8th of October 2009 - 08:25 PM ]
That's a heck of a visual isn't it? GTA IV, Street Fighter IV, Star Wars: The Force Unleased, Left 4 Dead, and Saints Row 2 are the latest candidates for the Platinum Hits treatment. A nice line-up to be certain and a great opportunity to jump aboard and experience these titles if you haven't done so already. It seems like the titles were chosen pretty strategically because with several of the games you have either had a) new content announced and coming soon, b) new content released, or c) sequels approaching. In celebration of these latest additions to the Platinum Hits Collection line-up, some retailers are offering a “Buy 2 –Get 1 Free” promotion for XBox Platinum Hits Collection titles. Read More...

Who didn't see that one coming? Max Payne 3 takes place in Sao Paolo, Brazil, with "fully destructible environments". Which means more stuff to shoot at and blow up.  Players will also experience "day and night cycles". Read More...

First online review of GTA IV hits the Internet
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Saturday, 26th of April 2008 - 03:59 AM ]
IGN posted their full review of the game this morning, which spans seven pages and ends in them awarding the game a 10 out of 10. "Hang in one area of the city long enough and you'll see how traffic and pedestrian flow changes as the day progresses. When it rains, people bring out umbrellas or shield themselves with a newspaper and run for an awning. Cops chase petty thieves unaware that walking down the street is Niko Bellic, cold-blooded killer. There's a perfect balance of mumbling doomsayers to remind you that the reason this city never sleeps is because it's full of nut jobs. Read More...

GTA IV FACTS
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Friday, 11th of April 2008 - 04:23 AM ]
USA Today’s Marc Saltzman lays out the controversial aspects of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV.  GTA IV will be the subject of much scrutiny when it launches on April 29th. Saltzman writes: Not unlike previous GTA games, Grand Theft Auto IV will ruffle feathers among concerned parents, politicians and activists. You still can kill police, but it’s wiser to avoid these shootouts because if you’re arrested, you’ll lose all your money and weapons and fail the mission. Though they’ll try to jump out of the way, you also can drive into pedestrians. Read More...
