Necromunda Another Warhammer title is in the works with Necromunda: Underhive Wars and it aims to tackle the Necromunda game in a tactical RPG setting Maybe you were sitting around and thinking that we needed another Warhammer 40,000 game out there after the success of Mordheim and that it also need to be set in the Necromunda setting of the classic game. It isn't just you as it looks like Rogue Factor was doing that too and so was Focus Home Interactive as they are working together to bring us yet another title in the universe just as described. Yes, now we have Necromunda: Underhive Wars here to be announced for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on its way due to all that success and also to bring another version of the universe off of the table and into a digital world setting. Styx: Shards Of Darkness Is Almost Here To Teach The Art Of Stealth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx A new cinematic trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has released and it shows off a bit of Styx's stealth tactics and mayhem he can create in the process We are all still waiting for a solid release date for Styx: Shards Of Darkness as March is still the only part of the date still set out there but that doesn't mean that the videos and fun have to stop. Of course not and that is just what Cyanide Studios has brought us here yet again for the game with a new trailer aimed to highlight the thing we know Styx is good at; Stealth. I mean, his last title was named Master Of Shadows and with a name like that, not to mention how the game actually played, stealth was his strong suit and I know I was able to put it to some amazing use from start until the end. There Is Always A Price When Embracing The Darkness Within For Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Vampyr A new trailer for Vampyr has been released and it lets us have a look at Vampyr's story in a way that shows how the world is always changing with our actions It seems like it is a bit out of place given the time right now, but none the less, we have a new trailer for Vampyr to gaze upon. This of course being the most recent title that Dontnod is cooking up for us. You know, the vampire one that takes place during the Spanish Flu epidemic. The one where we are a doctor during those times who has also been just recently turned Vampyr. Read More...

The Madness Of Call Of Cthulhu Is Starting To Sink Inâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

Have A Nice Day With Some New Gameplay For The Surge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Maybe they were in smaller viewings but that doesn't detract that Focus Home Interactive has released some new gameplay for The Surge for all of us to enjoy. Or not enjoy. Read More...

It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of November 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have released and it looks like Styx may be taking to the skies of Korrangar in the upcoming sequel We all know that Styx: Shards Of Darkness will have us venturing into some dark caves and dungeons to murder our way to some sweet, sweet Amber out there. Now it looks like more of the world is opening up to us as we will be taking to the skies in Cyanide Studios' sequel to the small hit. At least that is what it looks like from the new screenshots we have here for Shards Of Darkness that show off Korrangar in the game and Styx being up to his usual tomfoolery. Read More...

Space Hulk: Deathwing Shows Off Some Sweet Solo Campaign Moves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of November 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new gameplay video for Space Hulk: Deathwing has released and it shows off about 17 minutes of unedited Space Hulk: Deathwing solo campaign gameplay Up to now we've seen a lot of gameplay for Space Hulk: Deathwing and given that the game is hitting the PC on December 9th it would make sense that we wouldn't see much more until after that date. We would all be wrong though as it looks like Streum On Studio and Focus Home Interactive have opted to give us a nice long bit of gameplay to look at. In fact, we have a nice long seventeen minute video of the solo campaign of Space Hulk: Deathwing that has been left in its raw form without all of the usual clean up to make the game look amazing. Let Vengeance Be Your Song As You Enter Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Space Hulk Another look at Space Hulk: Deathwing has been placed out there to show off how much detail has been placed into each Space Hulk in the game Good news for those fans of Warhammer 40K as we have yet another video here for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off and get you all hyped up for this game to hit the PC on December 9th; the PS4 and Xbox One will see it in 2017. None the less here though, we have yet another look at the game and how much detail that Streum On Studio has put into the game to make it feel "true" to the universe that the game is set in. I figured this would have been a given since the start of it all but who am I to say we shouldn't get more gameplay footage for Space Hulk: Deathwing as we wait the next few weeks to get the game. Styx: Shards Of Darkness Has Been Delayed But We Have New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of October 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx Delays have hit Styx: Shards Of Darkness until next year but with it comes a new look at Styx and some of the upgrades that will be coming with this game It looks like my worries were true as it looks like Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been delayed until Q1 of 2017. I thought this might happen as we got closer to the original timeline that Cyanide Studios wanted to hit but as we had not heard much on the development of the game before now it was looking like a delay was inevitable. Not to tragic of news for a lot of gamers I know as Styx has been more of an underground kind of game already, pun intended, but as the team has been upgrading to the Unreal 4 engine for this game they and Focus Home Interactive though the delay was needed and I am going to side on this for sure. Now that the downer news is over here, let's move onto a bit of the new stuff for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

Let's Sink Our Teeth Into Vampyr's Combat & Upgrading System
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Vampyr A few new screenshots for Vampyr have been released and with those come a few updates on how combat in Vampyr will actually work We've seen the combat in Vampyr a bit in motion already but there wasn't any real explanation on how it all plays or why we need to do anything other than the amazing supernatural attacks that we've seen Jonathan do. I think this is part and partial to Dontnod not really showing much of the game since it was officially announced but also, as I am sure, Focus Home Interactive wanted them to hold off so they could hype the game a bit more. Thankfully that hype is on us right now as we have a better explanation on just how Vampyr's combat system is going to work and mix into the core game in general. Read More...

Have Some Gameplay For Vampyr To Gaze Into Its Soul
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Vampyr Another gameplay video for Vampyr has been placed online for us to watch and see if there is something new to spy for Vampyr after all of its showings It's always a good day when you get new gameplay for an upcoming game we are all excited about so I was over joyed when I saw that we have more gameplay for Vampyr. Ever since it was first announced by Dontnod and then showcased by Focus Home Interactive I was ready for the game to launch now even though it is still slated to come in 2017 at some point. I've tried to stay up on all of the news and tidbits here for Vampyr and now another video has been uploaded for us to watch right out of Gamescom. Read More...

Review â The Technomancer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Technomancer We sit down and review The Technomancer. It's the developer's next foray into the RPG realm with a cyberpunk feel. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. We put the game through its paces and now is the time to let you all know if you should add this game to your play list, back log, or steer clear list. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions â Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx While at E3 I was able to see Styx: Shards Of Darkness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Styx: Shards Of Darkness One of the other smaller titles on the floor at E3 that I was excited for was Styx: Shards Of Darkness. This would be the sequel to one of the smaller cult classic titles that Cyanide Studios gave us back in 2014. It is a fun little stealth action title that builds off the story of Styx: Master Of Shadows and from the looks of things builds off the expanded power of the Unreal Engine that they just didn't have before. Thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as the game is still slated to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...
