Fear The Wolves Brings Another Post-Apocalyptic Battle Royale Game In 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fear The Wolves A new battle royale title, Fear The Wolves, has been announced and Fear The Wolves looks to bring many gamers into the multiplayer world It looks like we are going to have yet another Battle Royale game added into the mix here as Fear The Wolves has been given the full announcement treatment and heading to our PS4, Xbox One, and PCs sometime in 2018. That seems to be like a broken record that is getting played here for Focus Home Interactive titles now. Not a horrible thing as Vostok Games has been working on Fear The Wolves for a while before the official announcement out at the “Le What’s Next de Focus” event that is going on, but it is still something I am taking note of. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Vampyr The fourth and final behind the scenes video for Vampyr is here and with it comes a look at the storytelling process of the game as well as the release date for Vampyr The final "episode" of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is here and with it comes a bit of a nice treat. It is something that we all figured Focus Home Interactive would do now that we are coming to a wrap on all of this, and all those assumptions were correct. That being the release date for Vampyr finally getting revealed for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It makes sense as this seems to be the end of the big push for the video game. Read More...

Love it or hate it, The Surge 2 is coming and it looks like they are doing what every sequel does; builds upon the past work to make a better title. Space Hulk: Tactics Is Announced & Bringing A New Twist To Space Hulk
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of February 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More...

We May Be More Human Than We Though After All In Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Vampyr The third of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is out there now and this one gives us a bit more on the human element we will have to tussle within Vampyr Here we go with just a bit more for Vampyr as the third episode of the behind the scenes series is out there now and showing us a bit more on how Jonathan will still be human after he is turned. DontNod has been pretty forthcoming with the fact that every NPC in the game will have some kind of meaning and each death will have its toll on the overall story. That is why it does not come as much of a surprise that this is the focus again for Vampyr here but with a few new bits of gameplay and interesting facts about the "human" element we are going to experience in the game. Here Is How To Make A Monster In The Upcoming Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of January 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Vampyr The first behind the scenes video for Vampyr is out and it gives some great insight on how they made their monsters in Vampyr Here we go with the first behind the scenes video for Vampyr and to kick it all off it is one that shows off just how the monsters of the game were made. I am not talking just about the monsters that will be out there stalking the world and causing us issues, but also how DontNod created the vampiric society and different "classes" of the vampires. Also how the protagonist of Vampyr has been altered over time and by the events of the game as well. At least to start out as I am sure we will need to wait until this Spring to see the exact reasons when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Deeper Into The Coffin With Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of January 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Vampyr A new video series for Vampyr is on its way to take us deeper into the game as well as show off some new gameplay for Vampyr as we loom toward its launch It has been some time since we last heard anything on Vampyr and how that was all going. In fact, last we all heard DontNod had to place some delays on the game until sometime this year as they wanted to make sure it was the best version of the game for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it finally does come. Sadly, there is not much more on Vampyr as of yet but it looks like in the coming weeks we will know a lot more. If my senses are correct, it could also mean that we will have a release date coming just as quickly as well. Read More...

Dive Into A New Style Of Narrative Adventure With The Council
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The Council A new narrative title, The Council, has been given the announcement treatment with a few twists to the episodic formula to make The Council shine Fans of episodic murder mysteries get ready to add another to your watch list as The Council has been announced to add into the mix and will be bringing all the intrigue you may have been waiting for on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also looks like history and occult buffs may want to take notice too as Big Bad Wolf is mixing all of that in as it looks like a good period piece with all of those iconic people from 1793 that were "ruling" the world. People like Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington to namedrop a few, but I am guessing the rest of The Council will be filled with others from around the world during the time as our protagonist looks for his missing mother while trying to navigate all of the social machinations and skills of all of the others at this weird gathering of the minds. Take A Little Walk In The Park With The Surge's Next Expansion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge Have a look at The Surge's next big DLC to come that shows off just what would happen in an amusement park after events for The Surge occur Attention all of you gluttons for punishment. It looks like the next big DLC for The Surge is almost here and now we have a fun tease to see what it will most likely hold within. A safe guess would be that Deck 13 has added a lot more in the way of deadly robots out there trying to kill us non-stop, but if you are not a guessing human you will be happy to see that there is a bit more than that. Of course, Focus Home Interactive has dropped a new teaser for this DLC for The Surge called A Walk In The Park so there will not be much in the way of speculation as to what we will have to face off with. Do Not Expect Vampyr To Bleed Your Wallet With DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Vampyr In a recent interview for Vampyr, it was revealed that the team does not want to do any DLC for Vampyr but plan for a sequel based on sales In a recent interview for DontNod's upcoming Vampyr, a few interesting things for the game were revealed but sadly still no solid release date for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is still set for "early 2018" and I am going to venture a guess around E3 or so. Nonetheless, there were some interesting facts about Vampyr that did come to light outside of when Focus Home Interactive will deem it a full success or not. Read More...

Vampyr Will Stalk The Darkness A Bit More As It Is Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of September 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Vampyr It looks like Vampyr has been given a delay due to a technical issue and now we can look for Vampyr to come to us sometime in Spring of 2018 Mark another title down for delay as Vampyr has been struck with just that and will be missing it release date that was supposed to be this year. There was never a specific date set down, but it looks like DontNod ran into an issue to the point that they had to push the release off to Spring of 2018. Another ambiguous date thrown out there for Vampyr, but it looks like we may have to wait as long as April of 2018 to finally see the game see the light of day on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I guess we can all focus on the fact that it has not been hit with a cancellation and just hope for the best. Read More...

E3 2017 Interview â Werewolf: The Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Werewolf At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry.
