Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag and there was still so much we didn't get to. Even with it only being SDCC and Animazement being the big conventions that just happened there seems to still be a whole lot of new information and updates out there. Life Is Strange A new Life Is Strange: Before The Storm trailer is out now and it shows just how some of Life Is Strange's characters started to hate each other more If you've played Life Is Strange already then you know well about the strained relationship between Chloe and her "new step-douche" David. There is no denying the level of animosity between the two characters and in the new "expansion" that Deck Nine Games is bringing to us all on August 31st we are going to see just a bit more on how all of that grew to where we saw it last. Wolfenstein A lot of new gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been released and we get to see Wolfenstein's take on Roswell and all the aliens there If there is one thing, we have not been in a drought of gameplay for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It almost seems like we can't go a full week without some new bit of gameplay for the game getting placed out to excite and titillate. It's almost like Machine Games doesn't want there to be any surprises when Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launches on October 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Then again, this could just be faith in the project that Bethesda has so that we can get almost an hour more of gameplay and still have so much yet to be seen and experienced in the full game. Life Is Strange A new behind the scenes video for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is here to give some insight on the story for these two Life Is Strange characters before launch In a month, August 31st, we will get our first episode for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm and we've seen some fun stuff for it so far. At least enough to see that Deck Nine Games is going to be telling a prequel of sorts from the last title and that it won't feature the same protagonist and the super time-bending powers. It will feature a few of the others from the Life Is Strange universe for sure but he we are going to see a lot more on the side of things for Chloe and Rachel more than anything. Read More...

Two of the bigger cons for the industry have now wrapped and we have a few more off in the near future and here we site continuing the coverage out of both of those major events. That's not to say that is all we have to cover for video games as we did get to see a whole lot more for Hellblade this week as we head toward the release date for that, but of course there was still a lot from Call Of Duty, Wolfenstein II, and Marvel Vs Capcom fresh out of SDCC and there is still plenty more to come. Wolfenstein Another gameplay clip for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been posted with a bit more of a look at Wolfenstein II's new Panzerhund It is no shock that the Panzerhund is going to be back in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I mean, we've already seen it in action during the original announcement that Bethesda had for the game during E3 in way of the old 'propaganda' video that aims to sell us all one. One called Liesel at that, but what we need is more of the gameplay for it in Wolfenstein II right? Life Is Strange While at E3 I was able to see Life Is Strange: Before The Storm in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. Another huge shocking title to make it's way out to E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. This is a prequel of sorts for the amazing title that DONTNOD gave us before and now Deck Nine Games aims to give us all a feel for where some of the other characters came from and how they better tie into the overall story. Unlike many of the other games announced and shown at E3 though, Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is slated for a pretty quick release date with August 31st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Bethesda Now that the Bethesda event is done and over with, let's talk about that very underwhelming Bethesda conference this year Well, that was something. I remember when Bethesda said that they wouldn’t come to E3 unless they had something big. Of course, money and marketing will always win out over all else in the end. Life Is Strange A new Life Is Strange title has just been confirmed to be on the way but no details on if it is a sequel to Life Is Strange or just in the same setting Life Is Strange was a sleeper hit for me and it makes me sad to say that I have still not played all the way through the whole game as of yet. Not from lack of want to see what DONTNOD crafted for us but, ironically, it comes down to time. Perception The release date for Perception has finally been set and we get a bunch of new looks at Perception as we have to wait another month now The wait is almost over as the big question for Perception has now been answered. That question being "when will we actually get to play this game?" It is answered now as The Deep End Games has given us such a date to look to and get ready to see the game on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Keep an eye out as now it looks like Perception is coming to us all on May 30th now.
