by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 5th of March 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another fun week in video games in the bag now. Again it had its high and its lows but we made it through. Of course that did mean that we had to watch as Uncharted 4 got hit with yet another delay and only a few sparse details for Vampyr. It did also mean that we got to see more cool kills for Friday The 13th: The Game and a huge collector's edition for Homefront: the Revolution get announced. Like I said, it had its highs and it had its lows. Read More...

Paragon Will Be Going Into 'Early Access' Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Paragon Paragon is heading to an early access stage and players can give Paragon or pay to make sure they keep all of their progress when the game fully launches The beta for Paragon is still going strong but it looks like there is a need for more players to access and help shape the game into what they want. Due to the latter there is looks like Epic Games is now taking Paragon into and 'Early Access' state where players will be able to pay to gain access but the bonus being that they won't lose anything when all is said and done. That and they will gain a whole lot of little extras to show off that they helped make this the MOBA to play on the PC and PS4. Read More...

The Battleborn Cast Is All Here Now With Last 2 Badasses
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Battleborn The last two characters for Battleborn have been revealed and now we know the full launch roster of heroes coming to Battleborn and their moves The final two characters for Battleborn have now been revealed and we can take in all of the 25 launch badasses coming to the game. Of course we finish off with these two as they are described as the most absurd that Gearbox has put together for the game. A luchador and an old robotics genius who is too lazy to do a thing. Sounds about right for Battleborn given all of the other characters in there already. Read More...

Mirror's Edge Catalyst Shows Off How To Hit & Move
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Two more gameplay trailers for Mirror's Edge Catalyst have been release and the both emphasize on the huge improvements from Mirror's Edge on combat and movement More gameplay for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has seeped out into the world and is ready for our digestion. This time we get to see how DICE perfected the combat and movement aspects of the game from where they once were. Not that there was a huge issue on any of the in my book but as long as EA is paying for it they might as well make some improvements. We wouldn't want to pay for something that we already had right? Here's our review on how they did When it comes to some great storytelling The Walking Dead graphic novel is one of the best. Mortal Kombat X The fourth and final new character coming to Mortal Kombat X, Alien, has been shown off and now we can solve the great question in Mortal Kombat X over who is the better hunter The last of the new fighters heading to Mortal Kombat X has been shown off and now we have a good look at the xenomorph, or Alien, from the franchise of the same name. Now is the time that NetherRealm Studios can sit back and just rake in the cash as the Kombat Pack 2 and Mortal Kombat XL are just days from launching and we have some great reasons for all of it. Especially if you and your buddies want to keep answering the question of who would win between Alien and Predator in a fight to the death. Read More...

We have three new heroes to show off for Gearbox's next huge title and it looks like they are not light on the badassitude. That is a word now. The Walking Dead: Michonne Has Just Walked Onto The Scene
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The Walking Dead: Michonne's first episode is now out and we have a new trailer to celebrate this new bit being added into The Walking Dead comic storyline The wait is now over as the first episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne is now out on almost all of the platforms it has been developed on. Sooner or later Telltale Games will be able to hit everything in all regions all at once but until then we will have to deal with a very slight lag time between the general major platforms and the mobile platforms. There is already so much of The Walking Dead on the later it is probably not that noticed when there is a few days in delay so maybe it isn't that big of a deal. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/15/16 — 2/19/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of February 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. As usual there was so very much that we had to cover and we did our damnedest to make sure we were able to get to every last bit that we could. We did have a lot more on the Far Cry Primal and Paragon side of things than could have been expected but the world of video games is a fickle bitch. I'm just glad we were able to get to the Layers Of Fear and Minecraft: Story Mode reviews we kept talking about that last few weeks. That all said, now we just have to keep looking forward to the next week and all of the other video games that we are going to hear about in the coming days. Read More...

Review — Layers Of Fear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear. It's been labeled as one of the scariest games in a while but is that true? Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear Last year some of the bold gave Layers Of Fear a chance as it hit Steam in way of an Early Access. Usually these don't amount to much and given the failure that Bloober Team suffered not long before that with Basement Crawl not many people wanted to go through the horror of another terrible game. Then it was shown to have some great promise and Aspyr Media chose to foot the bill and give the developer another chance at greatness. It has since been claimed to be like other great horror titles out there but did they hit the mark with Layers Of Fear or is it just another jump scare into mediocrity? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat X The third new character coming to Mortal Kombat X in the next DLC push, Bo' Rai Cho, was shown off and Mortal Kombat X looks to be in for many fart jokes The third or the four new fighters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack 2 DLC has been shown off at it was the lovable drunken master Bo' Rai Cho. NetherRealm Studios gave us a glimpse of the character during the story mode of MKX but now the DLC is bringing him fully to life and bringing more "comic relief" to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Comic relief in the terms of he kills with farts in Mortal Kombat X. Read More...

In H1Z1 You Can Either Just Survive Or Become King Of Killing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
H1Z1 H1Z1 has now been officially split into two different titles, H1Z1: Just Survive & H1Z1 King Of The Kill, but will all be taking place in the same world It's been some time since we had some coverage for H1Z1 here and it looks like we are back in with a huge one as it looks like the game has now been split into two distinct titles on the PC through Steam Early Access. In case you didn't remember H1Z1 was the zombie MMO title that was in the works by SOE who later became Daybreak Games. I guess it just runs in their path that things get split but it looks like this could lead to H1Z1 becoming the kind of game that each fan may truly be wanting. Read More...
