This Week In Video Games 8/7/17 â 8/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week has come and gone and we had even more to talk about in the world of video games than was expected. At least expected by me as we are getting close to the next big gaming conventions out there and you'd think that all the studios and publishers would be holding back. Then again, we have some great titles like Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus coming up and we need to talk about those video games for sure. Then mix in some extra coverage on SDCC that we've been working on getting out to you and a few new reviews and I guess I can see how we made it a pretty hectic week again. Read More...

Let's Do The Impossible & Kill A God In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Dishonored The first gameplay trailer for Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider is here and we get to see how we are tackling this new Dishonored standalone DLC During the big E3 event from Bethesda we heard that we were getting Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider to continue on the story as we all wanted. There isn't much more of a wait as we can see it on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC on September 15th but it would be nice to see what Arkane Studios has crafted so far to get us all hyped up for it. Gameplay for an upcoming title, or expansion, or DLC (or whatever this can be considered for the Dishonored universe as it is a standalone thing but not a full game), is always welcome to help us get a feel for it all and that is what we have here today. Dishonored 2 Adds Even More Ways To Play In Your Own Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 The first big update for Dishonored 2 brings in a lot of fixes and new game plus to Dishonored 2 so you can choose just how the game plays out yet again Hopefully by now you have had the chance to play and experience Dishonored 2 at least once by now. At least that is the hope for most of you from not only myself but the team over at Arkane Studios. The reason for that is the fact that the first major update for Dishonored 2 has just dropped for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game and will be bringing us all New Game+ in the mix. Of course there are many other things to come along with the update but that of course is one of the bigger additions. Read More...

Not only that but also PSX is this weekend and we are hopefully going to see more for Resident Evil 7 out there and maybe Hellblade. Just to name a few titles and such but as we saw there are still many more. Read More...

What Are We Willing To Become In Dishonored 2 As We Take It All Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of November 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 The launch trailer for Dishonored 2 has released and it shows off a lot more of Dishonored 2 than we could have expected Before we dig into the new video here for Dishonored 2 I am going to preface this here with a spoiler warning. If you were trying to keep all of the big story bits for the game a secret until you spun the game up on November 11th then you may want to skip right along as it looks like Bethesda as given us a very spoilery video for the story. It is quite a telling thing for the narrative that Arkane Studios has set up for Dishonored 2 and it does answer a few questions we've had but this will be your last spoiler warning before we carry on. Got it? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/31/16 â 11/4/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of November 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And with that, we end another week in video games and it has been yet another one that has been all over the place. We had more updates on Resident Evil 7 and Final Fantasy XV as well as a plethora of new information for Watch Dogs 2 and Dishonored 2. And those were only the triple A video games that we had to cover here as we saw both Project Wight and Maize get some announcements into the mix. You have to love when the smaller titles can get mixed into the larger ones. Read More...

It's Story Book Time For Dishonored 2 For Those Who Have Forgotten
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of November 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 Another story trailer for Dishonored 2 has been released and it gives us a fun popup book style recount of everything that lead to Dishonored 2's story As if we haven't had enough for Dishonored 2 to lead us into next week's release, we have yet another story trailer for the game. It's not like we are forgetting anything here Bethesda but I guess you want to make sure we are all up to snuff. It's not like we've ignored everything from Dishonored and what has been shown for Dishonored 2 but I guess we all may need another reminder. The game is still coming on November 11th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC; just in case you forgot. Read More...

All Is Gold As We Spotlight Dishonored 2's Corvo Attano
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of November 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A new spotlight video for Dishonored 2 is here for Corvo as Dishonored 2 has now officially gone gold and preps for full release It looks like Dishonored 2 has officially gone gold for us all and now all we have to do is wait until November 11th to get the game on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That and we can celebrate with Arkane Studios while they wind down from all of the development and deal with the stress of if they pleased all of us or let us all down. That has to be rough. This Week In Video Games 10/24/16 â 10/28/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site What a week in video games we just had huh? So many amazing announcements and updates we had that I am still trying to recover before the Halloween parties get into full swing. It's going to be hard with all the Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 announcements and videos we had. That is only the tip of it all as Watch Dogs 2 had quite a bit and that isn't even digging into the Dishonored 2 stuff that we had this week. Read More...

It Is Time To Get To Know Dishonored 2's Emily Kaldwin A Bit Better
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of October 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A new video for Dishonored 2 has been released and it gives us a bit more insight into Dishonored 2's Emily Kaldwin Here we go with yet another look at Dishonored 2 and this time around it is to highlight Emily Kaldwin from the game. Arkane Studios could have just left her where she was back at the end of the first game but since she was upgraded to playable character and given a whole bunch of new powers it is fitting we get to know here. I am sure we'll get even more when we play Dishonored 2 on November 11th but that won't help Bethesda push the game out the door and onto our PS4s, Xbox Ones, or PCs now will it? No it won't and hence we get these fun "looks" at the character and what makes them tick. Read More...

How Ready Are You For What Dishonored 2 Has To Dish Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A new trailer for Dishonored 2 is here but this time it is a live-action Dishonored 2 trailer to gaze upon here Dishonored 2 is a mere weeks out from launch, November 11th, and we should all be "celebrating" and getting ready to dive into the new game that Arkane Studios has put together for us. We've seen a whole lot of amazing things for the game so far and it looks like it could be another great hit. Granted, we've only seen about two missions in the game and a few overviews of powers in the game so far but little is left to the imagination it would seem now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/10/16 â 10/14/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Dishonored 2's Level Possibilities Feel Endless With Their Themed Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 Another developer diary for Dishonored 2 has released and this one delves into the endless possibilities that Dishonored 2's levels should feel to have We've seen some great level design so far in Dishonored 2 over the marketing campaign and showing off of the game so far. It looks like it will be another impressive feather in the cap of Arkane Studios when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11th. Of course all of that does come with the worry that Bethesda has only allowed the best parts of Dishonored 2 to be shown off so far and have hidden away any blemishes that might be there or will still be there after launch. Not like that never happens in the video game world right? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 â 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...
