An American Early Evil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of January 2009 - 01:13 PM ]
Resident Evil 5 Demo Premiers Exclusively on Xbox 360 Starting January 26 Who says that Capcom doesn't care about us Americans? They do. They just have a specific time frame for giving us slathering fans of Resident Evil what we want. This time in two stages. Granted anyone who has a web connection or knows how to download things outside of the US region have already had their hands on these, but you will be able to get them though XBox Live without having to work around language issues. On the 16th, that's in 2 days from now, Live users can download the game trailer shown at the Tokyo Game show last year, 2008. It has been around the net for a bit, but there is something about watching videos on a nice large TV over a little youtube window. Read More...

Evil Xbox Vs. Evil PS3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Sunday, 11th of January 2009 - 08:58 PM ]
Resident Evil 5 Comparison So while at the Consumers Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada over the weekend, I actually got to play Resident Evil 5 at the Capcom party. I did not get a chance to play it while displayed on the side of the Planet Hollywood, which was awesome although cold, but I did get to play it where they had the two versions running side by side. Exact same monitors and connections. The only difference is the systems they were running on. Read More...

Review â Resident Evil Degeneration [DVD]
by Jesse [ Sunday, 4th of January 2009 - 11:14 PM ]
Resident Evil At least Resident Evil Degeneration is better than the live-action Resident Evil movies Of the dozen or so problems that just about every Resident Evil fan has with the live-action movie trilogy, the number one thing has to be the lack of any real connection between the movies and the games other than the title. Thankfully Degeneration changes that by presenting an original story that is built right off of the core of the Resident Evil series and forms a bridge with the upcoming Resident Evil 5. Seven years after the viral outbreak that resulted in the destruction of Raccoon City, survivor Claire Redfield now working for a company called Terra-Save arrives at an airport in Harvardville. Japan Gets a Resident Evil 5 Co-Op Demo Next Week *Sadly Updated*
by Sam [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2008 - 12:03 PM ]
Japanese gaming mag Famitsu revealed that 360 owners will be getting a co-op demo of RE5 next week Friday, December 5th. The demo will have two stages to play through, most likely the ones we've been seeing in the trailers. You don't have to play co-op if you don't want to, there's also a single player option. The article also states that the Japan version of RE5 is being pushed back a week from March 5th to March 12th. For us in the US, it's still on schedule for Friday the 13th. Read More...

RE: Spoilers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2008 - 12:34 PM ]
First 11 Minutes Of Resident Evil: Degeneration So I am a sucker for seeing things to get myself pumped up for new films or games. Even if they spoil parts of the film. It's just me. But below, IGN has released the first 11 minutes of the new CGI film for Resident Evil. The first one is just general back story and set up for the film, and the second clip is segregated for a good reason. It requires age verification to see. For good reason, at least to cover their asses. Read More...

It has more on the back story and new partner for the game. It also shows all the characters that the have either rumored or just stated in passing. Like say, Wesker. Not to mention Biker Zombies. It also brings up the other games, like all of them just in this little video of the game. Read More...

Degenerating From Comic Con
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of July 2008 - 01:04 PM ]
New RE:D Trailer So this was one of the coolest things I got to see while at Comic-Con this year. It is quite a bit more of the new Resident Evil movie that they are doing. Unfortunately, it is a "Pirated" video that someone took. I was actually sitting not to far from the camera guy here. I've tried listening for my WOOO when Leon first comes on screen, but I get blended in. A little bit that they don't show in the clip but was revealed at the panel was that this is kind of a continuation of the 4th game. It has the characters of RE2, but it picks up after the events of RE4. Read More...

Dead Will Be Rising On The Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2008 - 01:14 PM ]
Dead Rising Ports To The Wii Yes, you read that right. Well at least that is what I have been able to gather from a very broken translation of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. So if you were still waffling on buying an XBox to get this game, it will be out on the Wii. Should be good news for some people who will remain nameless, but they are on this site. Hopefully it will do as well as RE4 did when it ported over as well. Go Capcom. Read More...

Friday The 13th
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of July 2008 - 01:39 PM ]
Resident Evil 5 Just announced at the Microsoft Conference at E3. Resident Evil 5 will be released on the 13th of March next year (2009). They showed off a bit more of their co-op play and talked a bit about the new organization that isn't Umbrella. So we could maybe see a demo hit by October. Or at least at any other Conventions that Capcom will be at. On a separate note, www.residentevil. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2008 - 12:48 PM ]
Capcom's Gamer Day Alright, so, I wasn't able to make it to this years Capcom convention. A little upset since it took place in my home city. It was an extremely closed group of the press and 5 lucky Capcom fans that got to go in and check everything out that Capcom has coming up. I'm a little let down I didn't go, but I have the stories to share with ya. The guys at one of the best Game sites,, has all the stuff we want. Read More...

New Street Fighter IV character revealed
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Wednesday, 12th of March 2008 - 01:39 PM ]
Thanks to [Via Kotaku], we can now use our eyes on another brand new Street Fighter IV character. A, Lucha Libre wrestler known as El Fuerte. That's about all we know for now, but enjoy the picture. He looks pretty cool.  As the last new guy that had been revealed. Reminds me of Rey Mysterio, like all Luchadores. Read More...
