This Week In Video Games 6/19/17 â 6/23/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one jam packed week of news and updates for all of our video games now wasn't it? Of course it was. It was the week after E3 and there was still so much more to talk about before sticking a fork in it all until next year or the next big event in the industry. We did get to Call Of Cthulhu, Vampyr, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse to name a few but we also had a chance to bring more to you for Hunt: Showdown. That was all the stuff out of E3 directly too and there were so many more video games to look at and think about. Read More...

E3 2017 Impressions â Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Call Of Cthulhu. There was a small list of titles at E3 that I desperately wanted to go hands on with at E3 and Call Of Cthulhu was one of those titles. I was so ever hopefully that Cyanide Studios would have had a nice little slice of the game out there to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but sadly it was not. That is not to say that Focus Home Interactive didn't put together a nice booth and experience for Call Of Cthulhu though and that in turn led to a lot of new information and details for the gameplay and scope of the game to finally get out there. I wish I could show you more gameplay than what we had for the public out at E3, but for now here's what we have for it all as well as more on the ins and outs of the game. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Shows Us The Depths Of Madness We Will Go To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has released and we get to see how far Pierce, Call Of Cthulhu's protagonist, will dive into madness Here we go with yet another interesting trailer for the upcoming Call Of Cthulhu game coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. We've had a few good viewings of the game so far but here we get to see the level of madness that Cyanide Studios is crafting for us here in the game as well as a bit more of the story we will help unfold. Not only that, but as Call Of Cthulhu's character generally go insane no matter the medium you play it in, we also get to see what I am guessing is some of harsher stuff that the game's protagonist will go through as he investigates the weirdness going on in the game's world. Weirdness or madness, either one really works here for all of this. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of December 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. The Madness Of Call Of Cthulhu Is Starting To Sink Inâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. Call Of Cthulhu Gets Its First Trailer To Drive Us Mad
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu The first trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has been released just before E3 and it gives us a taste of what Call Of Cthulhu will have for us at launch The wait is over now and we have our first trailer for Call Of Cthulhu to look upon. Sure we've had a few screenshot in the past from Cyanide Studios but they are just stills and we all want to see things in full motion. There is no denying that and now Focus Home Interactive has brought us a good look at Call Of Cthulhu just before E3 and well before its release in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Sadly though, in the usual manner, there isn't much to go on or any word that what we are about to see is true gameplay or just a nice cinematic for the game. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Takes Us On A Trip To Darkwater Island
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A few new screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released as well as a great overview of what Call Of Cthulhu's story is going to be all about It looks like some new Call Of Cthulhu tidbits have crawled out of the abyss here and is ready to show us just a bit more on what the game will be all about. Updates have been very sparse since Cyanide Studios took over for the title and it looks like it is going to stay that way for just a bit longer. Unless Focus Home Interactive has some huge plans out there to shock and awe. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Video Game Hasn't Fallen To The Depths
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of February 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New information has popped up for Call Of Cthulhu the video game as it gets a new developer and the first screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu the video game Almost two years ago we first caught wind of a Call Of Cthulhu video game being in the works. Originally it was helmed by Frogwares but then there was no word at all on the game's progression. Here we are in 2016 and it looks like Cyanide Studios has now been tapped to take this game further by Focus Home Interactive and now we have our first real update for Call Of Cthulhu the video game. Looks like this IP hasn't been lost the ravages of a lost mind just yet… Of course as this is still a very early announcement of the new developer taking the reins of Call Of Cthulhu there isn't much to go on but there is a little bit besides the basics.
