by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It seems like things have slowed down a bit around here for all of the video games and other tidbits of news out there. Even if we did have some fun stuff for Mortal Kombat 1 again and a new character on the way to Street Fighter 6 added into the mix. We also cannot forget that Nicolas Cage is now in the Dead By Daylight fun of it all with many more updates to come. All of this being the calm before the storm of the next wave with SDCC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of July 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Blade Runner A new Blade Runner game is on the way to us all with the announcement for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth Here we go, flying back into the famed IP once more and this time with the announcement for Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth. Another massive title coming out of Annapurna Interactive that will give us all something new for the IP, in video game form, for the PC and Consoles. Presumably, that means for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but we will have to wait and see. Given how the previous Blade Runner title was, it could work on the Switch, but the visuals we do get in this reveal do make it feel like it is leaning toward a higher-end experience when it comes to the graphics. Blade Runner A new look at the Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is here to show off how things have been brought forward from the original Blade Runner game Not much has been given to us for the upcoming Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition outside of its announcement as of late. Well, as of late being earlier in the year that it was coming and heading to the major platforms at the time. It was a huge cult game that has carried over just as the rest of the IP has. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, this has sure been one huge and messed up week for everyone out there and across everything, which is why it is a good thing most of us have our video games to fall back on. We will not dig into all of the other stuff out there that has been canceled or delayed, even though E3 2020 falls firmly in that arena. We will go back and remind us all that we have DOOM Eternal and the DLC coming to Mortal Kombat 11 and Control within the weeks. Read More...

SDCC 2017 Experience — Blade Runner 2049
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Blade Runner While out at SDCC we had a chance to check out the Blade Runner 2049 off-site event. Here's what we experienced for Blade Runner 2049 at SDCC 2017 Given that Blade Runner 2049 will be hitting theaters soon, October 6th, it makes sense that there would be a big thing out at SDCC to show it all off and build even more hype for the film. A big thing it was too as one of the larger parking lots near the convention center was taken over by a massive tent that only displayed the film's name but held many fun things inside; that is if you were willing to wait in the extremely long lines to get in. Thankfully though, the Blade Runner 2049 experience out there was handled rather well and offered up two different experiences for fans to check out. Read More...
