Waterworks In The New Mortal Kombat DLC
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 18th of July 2011 - 03:55 PM ]
The guys over at NetherRealm Studios have released a few trailers for their newest Mortal Kombat DLC character Rain. The trailers show off some of his back story, which is quite nice. Seems that after being orphaned from Shao-Khan's merciless army, the resistance adopted him and made him into a very powerful but arrogant warrior. After being denied a command position in the resistance he betrayed them and joined his mortal enemy, Shao-Khan. The trailers also shows off some very brutal combos and attacks that we can expect to dish out and sorely take to the face a couple dozen times. Read More...

Funcom's Age of Conan released its latest patch last Tuesday and 1.07.2 brought with it a new "offline leveling" system.  Details could be found out on the official community forum here.Oliver 'Tarib' Kunz explains that every active account you have will currently be given 4 free levels to distribute as the player sees fit.  These points can be given to any active toon you have, but the catch is they have to at least be level 30 to enjoy the benefit of "offline leveling".Additional "offline levels" are gained every 4 days (that's 4 days real time) whether you're logged into your account or not; you only need to have an active subscription to reap these rewards. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of August 2009 - 03:48 PM ]
Manhunt 2 PC Rated AO Who wants to play Manhunt 2 the way it was originally designed to be played? You know the version that originally netted the game and AO (Adults Only) rating way back in October of 2007. The version that was deemed so violent, raunchy, and filthy that it was banned in a few countries and had to undergo massive censorships to be made into a M (Mature) rated game. I know I do. Maybe it would be the game everyone was hoping for. Read More...

Age of Conan
by [ Sunday, 30th of March 2008 - 10:27 AM ]
In my humblest of opinions, MMORPGs are the single greatest genre in gaming. I consider myself to be quite the MMO-Connoisseur having played Ultima Online, Anarchy Online, Everquest, Dark Ages of Camelot, Everquest 2, Final Fantasy Online, Star Wars Galaxies, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Naturally, I am awaiting the impending release of Age of Conan, but what kind of release will be in store for me? As players of the game know, Vanguard was nearly unplayable at release and for quite some time afterwards. Read More...

TramaPWN = Who Is With Me!
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 10:57 PM ]
Can you really trademark the term Pwned or Pwn As we all know, PWN or PWNED is a slang term (which belongs to gaming the community) that implies domination or humiliation of a rival, used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent that has just been soundly defeated. Past tense is sometimes spelled pwnt (pronounced with a t sound) or pwned (with the standard d sound). Examples include "distributing the pwnage" or "you just got pwned". It can also be used, especially by non-gamers, in the context of getting "pwned" by The Man. Read More...
