by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another Final Fantasy XV developer diary of sorts has popped up and again we are treated to more Final Fantasy XV gameplay and history Here we go with yet even more on the Final Fantasy XV updates as we have another developer diary to look upon as we wait for any other real update for the game. I'm guessing Square Enix is saving all of those updates for the bigger events and not just lost in the mix of the normal hustle and bustle. Although if you are willing to take the time and watch the latest video you'll be able to spy just a bit more gameplay for Final Fantasy XV mixed in and get all hyped up for the September 30th release date again. So let the celebrating continue as Mighty No. 9 is still locked in and now we just get all kinds of cool things to look at as we head toward that date. Read More...

Two More Maps Have Been Added To Umbrella Corps' Arsenal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Umbrella Corps Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself. Read More...

Here's Why They All Run In Mirror's Edge Catalyst City Of Glass
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Mirror's Edge Catalyst A new Mirror's Edge Catalyst trailer has been released and it gives us all a look at why the runners run in the world of Mirror's Edge Catalyst This seems like a silly thing to only be hearing about for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we are so close to the launch of the game. June 7th isn't that far off now and we are only now hearing about why they run in DICE's next addition to the franchise. Of course this is all in jest and based on the title of the launch trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst as we should all know the reason they run by now; at least if you have any interest in the game at all. There are just too many reasons. Read More...

New Vampyr Screenshots Ask 'Who Will You Kill?'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Vampyr New screenshots for Vampyr have been released and they show off the duality of Vampyr's protagonist as every kill will have an effect on the game's world Slowly but surely we are getting to see Vampyr evolve into an amazing looking title. Now we have a whole new batch of screenshots from Dontnod to show off a bit of the game's world as well as some of the choices that Reid has to make in the game. Reid of course being the main character we will be controlling in Vampyr when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017. Hopefully Focus Home Interactive will be able to get this out the door in the earlier parts of the year but I'm going to guess it will be some time in the middle of the year. Read More...

Final Fantasy XV's Visuals Are Like Day And Night
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV Another new video clip for Final Fantasy XV has popped up this week and this one focuses on Final Fantasy XV's day and night cycle in the game…visually As it turns out we couldn't make it all the way through to the end of the week without yet another Final Fantasy XV video to look upon here. At this rate I am not sure what Square Enix will have left for us at E3 or any of the other events leading up to its September 30th release date. Of course I jest as there is obviously a whole lot more going on in Final Fantasy XV that little clips like this can't fully do it justice but at least now we get to see how the day and night transition cycles happen here. Hard Reset Redux Brings The Over-The-Top Action To Us All Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hard Reset Old FPS title Hard Reset is being brought back for us with Hard Reset Redux and is heading to PC and Consoles in a very fancy way Put on your "way back" hats as we have another old title getting brought back to us in a much better light in terms of Hard Reset Redux. Maybe you've heard of it or maybe you haven't but that doesn't change the fact that Gambitious isn't funding a nice new version of Flying Wild Hog's title from the past and bringing it right to us. In fact we can all see Hard Reset Redux hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC again here in short time as it is aiming to land on June 3rd. Talk about a quiet lead up and release for something that looks insanely intense. Read More...

Technomancer A new trailer for The Technomancer has been revealed that shows off the various companions you will have in The Technomancer to help you tame the wastes of Mars As it looks, you won't be completely alone when you tackle the world of The Technomancer. We knew there were going to be NPCs and other characters to populate the world that Spiders has crafted for us and even that some would be helpful. Now we get to see just how helpful as we have a trailer for The Technomancer devoted completely to just that; the companions. Not a moment too soon either as the wait until June 28th is almost over. Review — The Magic Circle: Gold Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The Magic Circle We sit down and review The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. A game that tries to take us into the world of game design. Here's our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition Back in July of 2015 The Magic Circle first popped up on the indie scene for the major PC platforms. Flash-forward almost a year and now it looks like Question has been able to bring the game over to the PS4 so hopefully more gamers can give the game a go. We had a chance to give it a good go now that it has been ported over so without gilding the lily too much here is our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. Their version that I am guessing they originally wanted to come out… Story The world of video game design is a fickle thing. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Adds A Mess Of New Enemies To Hunt Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have been released and they showcase some of the new dangerous enemies Styx will have to take on or avoid in the game I was pretty sure we were going to have to wait until E3 to get more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness but it looks like we don't have to. Of course that is where the bulk of what Cyanide Studios has to offer us will be shown but at least for now it looks like we are getting a small update. In this case it is a few new screenshots for the game as well as some descriptions of the horrible monsters and enemy factions that Styx will have to kill or avoid along the way to his next big score.
