Resident Evil 7 Almost Had A Family Dog & Other Aspects That Were Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new video series for Resident Evil 7 has kicked off to show us all the fun things Resident Evil 7 almost had as well as how the game was designed from the start By now most of us have played, beaten, and moved onto the DLC for Resident Evil 7 as it has been a rather successful venture into bringing the series back to where it began. All of the other recent titles were a little shaky, to Capcom's dismay, but now it seems like they have figured out how to give the fans what they want. As with all games though, Resident Evil 7 wasn't just an idea and then a final product, but another title with a long development process filled with all kinds of choices and paths that led us to a rather well done title. First Impressions — Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game just came out but here's some quick reasons to buy or not buy Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello, dear readers. This is more of a first impression than an actual review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I picked this game up early and due to my schedule at the beginning of writing this, I am only about five hours into the game. I also played this pre-patch, but I do realize as time goes on and patches get released from BioWare it may render some of these observations irrelevant. I felt this was pertinent information to let you know as I will have a complete review for Mass Effect: Andromeda sometime following this one, but to also let you know how this Mass Effect is right now if you are wary about picking it up due to the ‘animation’ controversy. Rumor Has It We Could See Assassin’s Creed Empire Before The End Of 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A retail listing for Assassin’s Creed Empire has many thinking that we could see the next Assassin’s Creed title before the end of this year The rumor mill is back at it again and here we are with more Assassin’s Creed Empire rumors and speculation of sorts. That would be the assumed titled from all of the other leaked information for the next title in the franchise that Ubisoft has yet to confirm. None the less we are here because it looks like that time to confirm things is dwindling down as a Swiss retailer is already showing Assassin’s Creed Empire as having a release before the end of 2017. The fourth quarter of 2017 to be exact and seeing how the site is still listing it as of this article, it may be something to take a look at for now. Read More...

Injustice 2's Cheetah Is Out For Amazon Blood In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
An official Injustice 2 gameplay trailer for Cheetah has been released and now we can see just how she will play in Injustice 2 if we learn well We've seen Cheetah a few times before for Injustice 2 already, but now we get to see her in full action and not some of the slower gameplay used to show off her moves and specials as we've seen. Those videos and streams from NetherRealm Studios, while informative, can be a little on the slower side for characters like Cheetah how look to be very fast-paced when all is said and done. At least that would be my take away here from the new Injustice 2 trailer that we have just below. Read More...

Review — Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Styx We sit down and review Styx: Shards Of Darkness. The goblin is back and there is even more to steal & kill. Here's our review of Styx: Shards Of Darkness Styx is finally back and doing what he does best in Styx: Shards Of Darkness; stealing and killing. It's been a long wait since he was the Master Of Shadows and brought his fun to the screen but Cyanide Studios didn't want the little guy falling into the darkness of obscurity and brought us yet another experience through the eyes of the thieving goblin. Hopefully learning from any mistakes and adding in just enough new items to make the game feel the same but enough to warrant the extra funds that Focus Home Interactive doled out for the game. None the less, here's our review on Styx: Shards Of Darkness and just how the game did in our eyes. Read More...

Rumors Are Out There That Evil Within 2 Is In Development
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Evil Within 2 Rumors have started that The Evil Within 2 is in development based on a recent job posting for Q/A to work on The Evil Within 2 or Psycho Break 2 in Japan The rumor mill is churning as it looks like hints that The Evil Within 2, or Psycho Break 2 if you wish, is currently in development and at the point where they are looking for QA people. At least this is all to be believed from a recent, unconfirmed, private job listing over there for Tango Gameworks that has found its way online and then screen captured for all to see. The bigger thing giving this new rumor for The Evil Within 2 much of its merit currently is that Bethesda has already teased some big titles for the year and that Tango has claimed it wanted to make this a franchise and not just a one-off title. Be Stronger, Faster, & Tougher As The Surge Has A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge The final release date for The Surge has been set and with it we have another fun CG video for The Surge to celebrate and get us amped up even more It looks like today is the day that we change The Surge's May release date into a solid May 16th release date as it has now been set for us. This was about when I figured that Deck 13 would be looking to release the game, but now it is confirmed and those waiting to give it a good play can now try to shuffle their schedules around to fit it in. There are already a few other great titles listed as launching on the same day, but all in different gameplay styles than The Surge so now you will have options and yet another title to put in when you need to break up the flow or monotony of the others out there. Outlast 2 Has Been Refused Classification In Australia For Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 Australians may not be seeing Outlast 2 at launch as it looks like Outlast 2 has been refused classification of even a R18+ rating by the censors We just had the release date for Outlast 2 given out and it was assumed to be a world-wide release on April 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Now, as it looks, the game may not be making said release date but only for those who live down in Australia where the Classification Board, think ESRB of sorts, has refused to give Red Barrels' new title even the rating of R18+. Outlast 2 is not the first game to do this, but this is the first we are hearing about it happening for this game. Read More...

This Is How Source Crystals For Injustice 2 Work & Not Make It Pay To Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 We have some new information on Injustice 2's Source Crystals and what they do as well as a good look at Injustice 2's version of Firestorm now We are back again with more Injustice 2 new and updates and while this isn't anything in lines with a new character reveal, we do have a new look at just how character customization and Source Crystals will work in the game. Source Crystal being the in-game currency for those who want to make their specific characters have a look and feel other than what NetherRealm Studios has provided out the gate. Also for those who want to have some of those premier skins in Injustice 2 without needing to buy the larger bundles of the game before May 16th. Read More...

Typhon Research Has Begun In Prey & Here Are Some Of The Findings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Prey Have a look at three of Prey's Typhon aliens in action along with how they may function in Prey and how we will be able to handle them in the long run We've seen them a bit already in Prey but now it looks like it is time to have a better breakdown of the alien creatures, known as Typhon, for the game. Well, at least three of them for now even though we see four in the list, but maybe that was just Arkane Studios suggesting that one is really just the "cocoon" of sorts to build to the others. I'm sure we'll know more soon or at least on May 5th when Prey launches out there. Read More...

It's Time To Meet Drack In Mass Effect: Andromeda & Have More Gameplay
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect Another member of Mass Effect: Andromeda's Pathfinder team has been given the introduction as well as a lot of Mass Effect: Andromeda spoiler gameplay Another day and even more Mass Effect: Andromeda news and updates. This time around we have not only a new look and introduction to another character in the game, but given that it is launching on March 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, we also have a nice little visual breakdown for the game. All of that and it also looks like BioWare was nice enough to spoil the opening to Mass Effect: Andromeda here for those who just can't wait until next week to get the game in their hands. Read that as we have gameplay of the opening mission to the game as well as some of the cut-scenes that go along with all of that. Read More...

Drawn To Death Is Coming Free For PS Plus & Bringing Amazing New Things
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death It has just been announced that Drawn To Death will be free for all PS Plus players out there and Drawn To Death will be bringing more exciting extras Back in February we had word that Drawn To Death finally had a set release date of April 4th but also that it was going to run the cost of $20 USD when it was first brought up as free-to-play. This brought on a lot of concern and questions for Bartlet Jones as to what had changed and if it would eventually become one of the titles that PS Plus brought us for free on our PS4. As it turns out, Drawn To Death will be coming to the PS Plus service for free and that "eventually" timeline asked is the same as its launch date. Read More...

System Shock 3 Has Landed A New Publishing Deal To Secure Its Release
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
System Shock 3 A new publisher has joined to help System Shock 3 finally come to fruition after System Shock 3 was first confirmed back in 2015 with little else Maybe you remember back in December of 2015 when we finally had word that System Shock 3 was officially in the works or maybe you don't. It has been quite some time since we've hear anything new out of Otherside Entertainment on it and I know it fell on the back-burner for me as well. As it turns out it looks like System Shock 3 is still happening and that Starbreeze will be helping bring the game to market for the PC and "other platforms. Read More...

Squad-Up With Mass Effect: Andromeda's New Multiplayer Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The multiplayer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been shown off here and now we can see just how our friends can help us in Mass Effect: Andromeda in-game Questions on Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer mode have been all the rage as of late since it was let loose that BioWare was not going to be having any kind of 'beta' before March 21st when it is supposed to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I've seen people go as far as claim that there will be no multiplayer at launch due to that, but I'm here to tell you that all is bupkis as we now have a good look at it all. Don't get your little Mass Effect hearts all worked up for nothing except for the excitement that the game is almost here now. Read More...
