Get Your Squad Ready For Mass Effect: Andromeda's Combat Profiles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect: Andromeda Another gameplay video for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released with more focus on combat but also how your team in Mass Effect can deliver a great one-two punch The combat training keeps flowing here for Mass Effect: Andromeda as we have the next video in the series that BioWare is giving us to show off the game a bit more. This is the second video in the series here and this time around we get to see how the combat profiles will work in the game as well as how you can team up with your squad. We will all have to take more care with setting all of that up now as it looks like the combination of things in Mass Effect: Andromeda has jumped up from where it was before but all in a way that looks to make the game just that little bit easier for us. Mimics Are Everywhere In Prey And We Will Add To The Madness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Prey A new gameplay video for Prey has released to showcase how we can use the powers of the Mimics in Prey to get around the game and survive One could say that once you've seen one of Prey's mimics in action then you've seen them all. That one person would be wrong as mimic can look and act like anything, but it gets even more compounded by the fact that Arkane Studios has also given us all the ability to do the same in the game through one of the first powers we unlock in the game. We've seen the enemies use it before but now we get to see just how we will get to handle it in Prey and it looks like it could be something truly silly or something that could save our lives in the game. Something that seems to be the case in all of Bethesda's titles now doesn't it? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Another story trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped to shows us more of the divide and introduce a new character to Injustice 2 in the mix of it all I hope you are ready for some more Injustice 2 story to be revealed as that is what we have here to look at today. At least a bit more as we all know how NetherRealm Studios rolls and they will keep the best parts well-hidden until May 16th when the game hits the PS4 and Xbox One. That is of course as long as no one leaks or spoils anything else for Injustice 2 before it comes to the masses. We know how some of those sites out there like to do that. Read More...

Have More On How Horizon Zero Dawn's World Was Built & Fleshed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn Another developer breakdown for Horizon Zero Dawn is here and shows off more on how Horizon Zero Dawn's world was built and how the facial animations were captured Hopefully you are not getting tired of hearing about Horizon Zero Dawn as not only do we have more to look at for it, but it launches in only a few days on February 28th. I know I feel like we've had so much on the game shown off so far from Guerrilla Games but as it sounds, we have only been shown very little to date. That is great for those who want to stay as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Behind The Notebook With Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death A new video for Drawn To Death is out and this one gives us a look at how and why some of the Drawn To Death artists crafted the world the way they did Unless you are blind and living under a rock, you should know that Drawn To Death has a very unique style in terms of the art direction. It's not the first of its kind but it definitely shows off the direction that Bartlet Jones wanted to go with in the game and it has captured the eyes of many and the disdain of others. Drawn To Death is definitely not going to be for everyone but at least it is something new and with some solid gameplay to back it all up and I look forward to April 4th when it finally is released in its final form on the PS4. Agony A new teaser video for Agony shows off a few of the demons we'll encounter in Agony as well as a date for when we will see them in full action Oh the Agony and the waiting for this game to come out as it looks like a rather intense horror title poised to follow up some other amazing ones here recently. With each new trailer and bit of gameplay Madmind Studio manages to "wow" me and here we go again to help us with the time it is taking to bring the game to market. Hopefully by now you know that in Agony you are in Hell but also have the ability to control other people and some of the lesser demons you will be rubbing elbows with. Read More...

Project Prelude Rune & A New Studio, Studio Istolia, For It Have Just Been Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Studio Istolia A new studios, Studio Istolia, has been announced as well as Studio Istolia's first IP being in the works in terms of Project Prelude Rune If for some reason you didn't think that Square Enix had a lot on their table already, they go out and set up a whole new studio in the way of Studio Istolia. This would be a whole new studio that has been founded in Japan and has been tasked with bringing more great story titles out to us all with their first getting the codename of Project Prelude Rune. Given that this is only an announcement for Studio Istolia and the first IP it is working, there isn't much more to go on than that but at least we know that we have another contender in the gaming world and their aim is to bring more story based titles to us. See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The pre-order bonus for Friday The 13th: The Game has been shown off in ways of the custom Jason for Friday The 13th crafted by Tom Savini If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game since day one then you may be familiar with the bonus of an extra Jason for the game from the mind of Tom Savini. This is to go above and beyond all of the other versions of the character that Illfonic currently has for the game as well as everything that Gun Media has planned as well. I guess this would fall under planned as the only way to get this version is to pre-order Friday The 13th, but I digress. Read More...

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Has Been Given A Release Date To Run Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been set and it looks like June will be when we dive back into these three Crash Bandicoot titles in HD Get ready to clear some calendar space as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally be given a release date to look forward to and that would be June 30th now. This would be the latest HD collection that Vicarious Visions has been remastering for Activision and it is coming for the PS4. While I know many gamers out there would have rather had a full and new Crash Bandicoot title, at least this is a start and a nice little slice of nostalgia for all of those hardcore fans of the IP as well as the PlayStation name. New Gameplay For The Surge Shows How We Are Helping Combat Climate Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Digressing aside though, here we are again with more gameplay for The Surge and this time it is more combat and a few new areas of the game to look at. The first time around I saw that the combat was a bit on the clunky side and barring any real detail it looked a bit broken. Read More...

It's Time To Gear Up For Combat With Mass Effect: Andromeda's Latest Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new video series for Mass Effect: Andromeda has kicked off and the first one show how combat has changed in Mass Effect and how we can use it now If you've been holding out for some new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at then your wait is now over. A new video series for the game has kicked off and starts out with BioWare giving us all the low-down on how combat will function and has been altered over the past titles. This isn't going to be the same style of combat we've been used to in other Mass Effect titles but for the most part it looks like it will run and gun just about the same. Just with all of those upgrades to the newer hardware that EA has paid the team to do. Read More...
