Meet Injustice 2's Atom Again Just Before He Hits The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Another look at Atom is here for Injustice 2, even though we saw him earlier, but this time with more Injustice 2 gameplay This all may feel a bit familiar for Injustice 2, but here we go with another good look at Atom just before he lands in the game here on December 12th. We had a look at him back in October when NetherRealm Studios opted to show off the worst hidden character in the Fighter Pack 3 DLC, but that was just a small showing (pun intended) just to give a taste. He looked cool, but mainly just did what we expected in Injustice 2 by shrinking, growing, and having his blasts to take down his opponents. That and we also are to see that we are not getting the Ray Palmer version of the character but the Ryan Choi version of the character. Read More...

Review â Minecraft: Story Mode â Jailhouse Block
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Minecraft We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Jailhouse Block. This is the third episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Jesse and crew as the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is underway for us. It has been a weird ride for us yet again with this game and season, but here we go with yet one more episode in the mix. No doubt, this should be one of the ones that set things up for the future if it goes along the path of other Telltale Games' titles out there, but that could be in the next episode as well. The Final Core Episode Of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Almost Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The third and final episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is coming soon to wrap up the events leading to Life Is Strange in general Get ready to wrap up the base story for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm here in a few weeks as we now have a release date and trailer for the third and final episode for the game. Or at least the final episode in terms of the story that Deck Nine Games set out to do with this game and not just the extra content that is coming next year to better bridge this and the core game. Yes, that all sounds weird to say and it is weird to type, but that is just how it is until Square Enix goes out and funds even more of Life Is Strange to be made or just puts it in a folder somewhere. Another Portal Game Is Kind Of Coming With Bridge Constructor Portal
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Portal Get ready to use those Portal guns again as it looks like that franchise has crossed with another to bring us Bridge Constructor Portal It has been a while since we had anything truly new for the Portal franchise in terms of a full game. It is crazy to think that it has been six years since the last full entry into the IP and at most, we have had little links back and forth with characters, items, and Easter Eggs to entice us all a bit more. If you are like me, you are sitting there hoping for a full new title into the franchise, but for now we are going to have to sit and take games like what Headup Games has for us here. Now we have Bridge Constructor Portal to look at and get another taste of the IP through their other game's mechanics but with all the fun GlaDOS and Aperture bring to the world. Read More...

We Now Know When The Path To Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption Will End
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been set and we can start getting ready to become the Sinner early-ish next year Maybe you remember a while back when we first brought you Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption or maybe you do not. With so many games flying around out there you do not need to be tasked with remembering them all. That is what we are here for and that is why we are bringing back up this interesting boss battler title that Another Indie will be bringing to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC if it still tickles your fancy. To further freshen your memory, Sinner is also that title that looks to de-level you as you progress further into the game; not only to make the challenge a bit harder, but to also help with the story of redemption as you have to choose what you are giving up in order to bring down the seven deadly sins. Hunt: Showdown's Progression System Has Been Given More Detail
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Hunt The progression system for Hunt: Showdown has been detailed out more and the permadeath system of Hunt: Showdown will not be as bad as it could be Another live stream for Hunt: Showdown has gone down and this one was one of the big ones as it delved deeper into the metagame of it all and tackled the player and hunter progression in the game. This also includes a bit more on the semi-permadeath part that Crytek has floated out there since the project shifted into what we have now. They explained a while back that our player level would be something along the lines of a Bloodline in Hunt: Showdown and this is how we could pass specific things along in the game; all while out hunters have their own levels and can be put down completely if you play them in a not-so-smart manner. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of December 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
SOMA The release for SOMA is here for the Xbox One and with it comes a new mode for SOMA called Safe Mode For some of you out there, the wait is finally over and you can play SOMA now as it is here for the Xbox One now. Only a bit of time after it hit the PS4 and PC, but sometimes that is how games go and thankfully Frictional Games did not want to leave anyone out there in the cold. Sure, you could have given SOMA a try on any of the other platforms out there, but now it is here to cover all of the spread san the Nintendo side of things. Maybe that will come but most likely not. Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Giving A Full Farewell Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange It looks like the original actors will be back for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm's Farewell bonus episode & you can see how the Life Is Strange alums recorded their lines If you picked up the Deluxe Edition of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm then you most likely know you are getting a nice little bonus episode after the third one finally drops. Although this Farewell episode is now slated for some time in 2018 according to Deck Nine Games, so it is not something to get all hyped up for as of yet. That and seeing as we are still waiting for that third episode still, it is a little bit too soon for that as well. Read More...

Past Cure Will Have Us Blending Stealth & Combat To Survive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Past Cure We have a new gameplay walkthrough for Past Cure that shows off how stealth and combat will be blended to make our way to the end of Past Cure Up to now we have had some flashy and story filled trailers for Past Cure that more or less gave us the feel for the game that they aimed to do, but none of which showed off the core gameplay we would get to experience. Especially since Phantom 8 Studio has made it clear that there will be a heavy drive for Stealth and Action in the game. With February 2nd not too far off, it would be nice to see just where all of this is headed for Past Cure so we can be fully ready for it all. Read More...

Biomutant Has A Load Of New Screenshots To Dig Through
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Biomutant More screenshots for Biomutant are out there, we have them to look at, and so we can try to make head and tails out of Biomutant's current status I hope that you were looking for some new screenshots for Biomutant, as that is what we have here for you. You most likely caught wind of all of that from everything above, but since Experiment 101 has taken the time to put them all together and THQ Nordic has doled them all out, it is worth taking the time to give it all a little build up. A release date for Biomutant would have been nice to come along with it all here, but we will have to take what we can get for now and some new screenshots are just about it. At least these ones seem to show off more than just the little "rodent" that we will be controlling when the game finally does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. Read More...

If you have placed the game aside for now, it may be time to load it back up on your PC, as February 8th we will see Civilization VI: Rise And Fall land and enhance or change the game to keep it all fresh.
