The Black Glove Is Now Coming To The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for The Black Glove and PS4 support has been announced from the former Irrational Games devs Looks like there has been another huge update to The Black Glove even though the Kickstarter campaign is still about $400,000 short of being funded. It looks like enough people have asked for it and The Black Glove is also slated for a PS4 release on top of the PC release already stated. Of course that is if they get funded or find some kind of outside funding if the campaign fails. I guess all of those people excited for The Black Glove better get funding the project or better get hoping that Day For Night Games can get the project complete without the high asking price. First Footage For Firefly Online Has Been Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Firefly Online finally has some gameplay footage for us to look at and judge if it will further the franchise that was killed off in its prime If you are a huge fan or Firefly then you may have already heard about Firefly Online. I've been keeping an eye on this PC, iOS and Android MMO since I first caught wind and up until now I've been a little under-impressed with what I've seen thus far. We've not had any good gameplay video and to my knowledge a rather low quality CGI trailer to try and explain what Firefly Online is all about and why the fans should be excited that it is coming. There's even a way to sign up for the Beta for the game that really doesn't give us a thing. Read More...

The Black Glove Is What Is Next For Those Ex-Irrational Games Developers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of October 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new game called The Black Glove is in the works from ex-Irrational Games developers, Day For Night Games, and they need you help to get the game finished Back when Irrational Games was winding down and people were losing jobs over there, there was a big question as to what was going to become of some of the people who didn't move along with Ken Levine. There is still not much know except that a small group from said team have now banded together to bring us The Black Glove. The team in question here is called Day For Night Games and it comprises mostly of those who were responsible for BioShock Infinite, that game's DLC, and the original BioShock. Read More...

It Is Time To Get Eminence: Xander's Tales Up And Running
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of August 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Eminence: Xander's Tales is up and running with the game being much more than just Triple Triad It's been a couple months since we first spoke on Eminence: Xander's Tales. This is that Triple Triad mobile title coming from Aeterna Studios and by mobile I'm talking iOS with Android down the line. Well it looks like the Kickstarter page for this is now up and running with the hopes of moving Eminence: Xander's Tales to PC and consoles. I'm guessing PS3 and Xbox 360 but that is all stretch goals for now. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is being released this week and here is the launch trailer for the game Talk about one of the best blasts from the past coming to PS4. Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is the most recent HD remastering for Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and it is releasing tomorrow (7/22) on the PS4 in the North American region. Wednesday (7/23) for all those EU regional people and TBA this year for everyone else who wants to replay one of the games that started my next-gen-now-way-last-gen gaming love. That would be back on the PS1 days back in 1997. Read More...

Been Jonesing For Triple Triad? Eminence: Xander's Tales Has You Covered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Eminence: Xander's Tales is a new MMORPG/TCG is coming that will bring back the fun of Triple Triad and then some If there is one thing I loved about Final Fantasy 8 it was Triple Triad and it looks like it is making a comeback with Eminence: Xander's Tales. Yep, the best feature of one game is becoming the sole mechanic behind another game, at least in a close enough way that there shouldn't be any legal battles; hopefully. It's not like Aeterna Studios is using any of the assets here, just some of the basic mechanics to fuel the gameplay along to hopefully give us a story as it is also slated as a MMORPG. I know you want to see Eminence in action a little bit so I'll give you a gameplay trailer here just so you can get all those nostalgic juices flowing in your system. Read More...

See How Beautiful Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty Looks In The E3 Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of June 2014 - 03:00 PM ]
Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty gets a new E3 trailer to show off how beautiful the HD remake is looking up until now While I am not always the biggest fan of the "HD remake" after seeing the following trailer I can fully get behind Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty here. As memory serves the original Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee looked spectacular using today's standards as a guide. At least if you could take what was on our standard resolution TVs back then and properly upscale it for our new high resolution/4K TVs. We all know that wouldn't look well at all if that was all that was going to be done for New 'N' Tasty. Read More...

Superhot Looks To Be All About The 'Bullet Time'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of May 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
A new Kickstarter campaign has begun for Superhot from Superhot Team. Yes, you read that right. It looks like we get to see yet another Kickstarter Campaign make or break development and this time it is for a title names Superhot. This is another FPS game made by a development team that also has the same name of the game; Superhot Team. It looks like this team is looking to get funding so they can finish what they started during 7DFPS. For those who don't do internet searches that is a 'game jam' where teams try to build an FPS title in under a week. Read More...

Looks Like Killbite Studios' Among The Sleep Will Be Coming To PS4 Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We can add another title to the PS4 library with Among The Sleep now. Once a Steam title, now a PS4 as well. If Among The Sleep sounds familiar then you might have heard about this game last year when it was trying to get funded through Kickstarter for PC, Linux, and Mac. It is a FPS horror title where you take on the role of a two year old child instead of some big badass cop or space marine. As if all the crazy horror stuff wouldn't be enough; am I right? Well, the news here is that today it was announced that Krillbite will be bringing Among The Sleep to the PS4 as well. Read More...

Wolfenstein: The New Order Allows For Both Mayhem And Stealth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of April 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order that shows off the different play styles available in the game. When I hear Wolfenstein I don't always think of stealth and I think more of the madness of shooting up Nazis. With the latest trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order it looks like we are going to be getting that little extra style as a full option. I know that "stealth" is always an option as you can always snipe and set up kills to make it easier but that is just strategy and not a full selling point in general. The point here is stealth for Wolfenstein: The New Order though. Read More...

A brief history of Neverending Nightmares and what it took to bring us an amazing demo and release window. An artist can always use his bleakest moment to shine, they can take the pain, the agony, distraught even the misery they accumulate then create their unique masterpiece with blood, sweat and tears. Wolfenstein: The New Order Is Giving You Nowhere To Run Toâ¦Baby
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2014 - 01:00 PM ]
Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order showcasing some new gameplay and story. Just in case you thought we were running light on the gameplay for Wolfenstein: The New Order we have a new trailer showing just that. Ok, well maybe more of the scripted in-game footage for the game but at least it is a bit more on the overall story that Machine Games and Bethesda are trying to tell. Not to mention some of those really fun "alternate history" blurbs mixed in that have seemed to become a staple in the Wolfenstein: The New Order marketing. If you look closer too I think that we can even catch a few of the other named characters of Wolfenstein: The New Order getting the business end of B. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 03:00 PM ]

It looks like Wolfenstein: The New Order is stepping up into the crazy "collector's edition" arena with the recently announced Panzerhund Edition. Bold move but let us see what all of you crazy Wolfenstein fans may be getting for your $100 USD if you so choose to get this crazy "collector's edition" for the game.
