See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of February 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands It has been announced that Ghost Recon Wildlands will be getting an open beta next week bringing one more Ghost Recon Wildlands location to explore since before The closed beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands has come and gone and many players had a chance to check out a small slice of the game and tool around with some of the gameplay features. I too missed out on it all due to time and other constraints so don't feel bad if you were in the same bucket. Also don't feel bad as it looks like Ubisoft is going to give everyone another chance to check out a bit of what Ghost Recon Wildlands has to offer with another beta. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/23/17 â 1/27/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of January 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more week of video games in the bag and yet again we had a whole lot to talk about here. So many great announcements and updates where had as well as a few new games getting their official launch or heading into a form of beta or another. Of course there was a whole lot for Resident Evil 7 this week due to all of this but that is not to discount the Injustice 2 news and the fact that we are all gearing up for the Conan Exiles early access next week. That and the upcoming Ghost Recon Wildlands "beta" that will also be getting the kick off there as well. Read More...

Even More Gameplay For Ghost Recon Wildlands Drops Before The Closed Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A few more gameplay videos for Ghost Recon Wildlands have dropped just before the beta & we have word of bonuses for Ghost Recon Wildlands pre-orders Next weekend will mark the day that the Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta kicks off and those lucky enough to get into it will have a chance to put the multiplayer through its paces. Also they'll be able to judge to see if Ubisoft is able to still deliver the experience that we've all been waiting for or if things are getting the media razzle dazzle out there. I guess that is another good aspect of having a beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands almost a month before launch unlike other titles out there that are waiting until the last few weeks to test things out. Here's A New Look At Ghost Recon Wildlands' World & Toys
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A new showcase video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has sprung up to show off the world of Ghost Recon Wildlands as well as the guns and how they sound Hopefully by now you have seen just how beautiful Ghost Recon Wildlands could potentially look when you spin it up on March 7th. So far it has looked amazing and sounds amazing but given how we've been burned in the past by other Ubisoft titles and the sizzle of promotional materials, it could leave one thinking that we are getting the razzle dazzle yet again. That's why I generally like to stay cautiously optimistic to pessimistic at all times so I won't be let down just in case games like Ghost Recon Wildlands don't live up to all of the hype and visuals that we are given during development. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A breakdown of Ghost Recon Wildlands' single player missions has been placed out there giving 22 minutes of new Ghost Recon Wildlands gameplay We've had some pretty good looks at Ghost Recon Wildlands in the past and I am sure we will see a whole lot more as we get closer to March 7th but here we go with yet another one to get us ready to play the single player part of the game here. There is still the multiplayer part coming and heading to beta as Ubisoft is want to do, but here we are to focus on the single player part. Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open-world game after all and even though you will have a squad to control, it should be seen as a huge part of the overall game. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Is Almost Here To Teach The Art Of Stealth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx A new cinematic trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has released and it shows off a bit of Styx's stealth tactics and mayhem he can create in the process We are all still waiting for a solid release date for Styx: Shards Of Darkness as March is still the only part of the date still set out there but that doesn't mean that the videos and fun have to stop. Of course not and that is just what Cyanide Studios has brought us here yet again for the game with a new trailer aimed to highlight the thing we know Styx is good at; Stealth. I mean, his last title was named Master Of Shadows and with a name like that, not to mention how the game actually played, stealth was his strong suit and I know I was able to put it to some amazing use from start until the end. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Ghost Recon Wildlands A new behind the scenes video for Ghost Recon Wildlands has been released showing off how the music of Ghost Recon Wildlands was composed and brought in This is going to be another two-for-one kind of deal here for Ghost Recon Wildlands as it looks like we have another behind the scenes video that isn't generally enjoyed by most but it will be followed by a new reveal that is pretty easy to get stoked about. At least it is for me. But first we have a look at just who and how the music is being composed for the game between Ubisoft and Alain Johannes. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Husk The release date for Husk has finally been set and gamers will be playing Husk early in February on their PCs Horror fans should rejoice as here we go with another title coming our way in the form of Husk as it now has a release date for us. Maybe you've heard of the game or maybe you haven't but that doesn't change the fact that UndeadScout is bringing it to us on February 3rd as of now. Until now it has been a relatively quiet development cycle for Husk but it has caught our eyes over here and has also put out some rather creepy gameplay videos so it can live up to the likes of Silent Hill and Alan Wake. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
LEGO Worlds It looks like LEGO Worlds is leaving the Early Access and soon LEGO Worlds will be able to be experienced by PC gamers to console gamers real soon Since last year gamers have been able to experience LEGO Worlds through Steam's Early Access of the game. They've been able to help TT Games shape the game into something that they want and will hopefully be something that the mass audience out there will also want. At least I am going to guess that is what Warner Bros. wants for the game. Read More...
