The official Battlefield V reveal event has come and gone and now we have our first look at what Battlefield V will have to offer us Yesterday we finally had our official reveal for Battlefield V and with it came some of the first gameplay and a whole lot of promises. The big one given to us that I am sure DICE wants us to focus on is that we will have a new look at WWII that we have yet to experience before. A lofty claim given that we have had so many other installments into the WWII era and some of them from the Battlefield franchise already. Given how well the last one did in WWI, though, it does feel like a claim that we could be seeing come to light on October 19th when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

New gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution has been shown to give us all a feel for what kind of environmental issues we will face for our Jurassic World Even more gameplay for Jurassic World Evolution is here again and it is another nice twenty-minute block of gameplay showing off another of the islands we will need to work on. This one being the Isla Muerta and it also happens to be one of the islands that has harsher weather patterns by default and will cause us to need to react accordingly. It seems like an island we would not want to build our Jurassic World park on but Frontier Developments needed to give us some kind of challenge when it launches on June 12th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The official release date for Earthfall is now set and we can all look to be playing Earthfall on our systems by July of this year It looks like it is time for Earthfall to leave that Early Access and to move right along to a full release. Not only that, but a full release on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 now that Holospark has finally set down the release date for the game and it is now heading to us on July 13th. Yes, you will soon be able to save humanity from the alien invasion in the Pacific Northwest with everyone else in Earthfall and not have it be a "work in progress" anymore. Not that gamers have not had fun playing the game in that setting thus far, but it is always great to see our games move on to the full release instead of early access. Read More...

A new psychological horror, Someday You’ll Return, has been revealed and Someday You’ll Return will test your ability to be a good father Here we go with another psychological horror title getting announced with Someday You’ll Return with a current goal to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2019. Do not think that is a bad thing as CBE Software is looking to shake up the genre and gameplay style of the “walking simulator” here. Someday You’ll Return is not going to be just that but something deeper and more atmospheric from the basic description and the trailer that has come with this announcement here. Read More...

The launch trailer for Detroit: Become Human is here to give us one last look at this version of Detroit and get us further pumped up for the game With Detroit: Become Human launching on May 25th it seems high time for that launch trailer to hit us all. That just happens to be what we have here to enjoy today to give us all a little more of the story we are going to get here as well as a nice little look at what else Quantic Dream has crafted. Just like every other launch trailer out there though, it is more sizzle for Detroit: Become Human and less substance. This is a good thing though as I know I would not want to have much of the game's story spoiled only a few days out from launch. Read More...

A new gameplay mode for Agony is coming with the game and players will be able to compete against each other in this new Agony Mode It looks like there will be more to Agony than we thought when it launches on May 29th here. At least if you can make it through all of the horror and disturbing imagery that Madmind Studios has put together for their version of Hell. If you can, then you will be glad to hear that there will be what is being called Agony Mode for the game and it will be the "multiplayer" aspect of the game. Multiplayer in the terms of being able to rank up against other players out there who are interested in playing the game and then this new mode. Read More...

A new trailer for Insomnia: The Ark is here to give us another taste of what the world will be like in Insomnia: The Ark when it comes this year Get ready for one more Sci-Fi dystopian landscape to come at us this year with Insomnia: The Ark. It has now been set that this Kickstarter funded title will now be hitting the PC later in 2018 once Studio Mono wraps up work on it all. That should be a given for the game as they are still working on it and we cannot really play it until they are done, but it felt like it needed to be stated again here. Nonetheless, Insomnia: The Ark is coming this year and we also have a nice new trailer to look at for this Sci-Fi RPG that gives us a better feel for the dystopian world that we are going to be stepping into here this year. New footage for Dreams has been uploaded to show off were the game has evolved to just before E3 so we can get fully prepared for our Dreams there You can tell we are getting closer to E3 as we start to see more gameplay and B-Roll popping up online just as we have here for Dreams today. Although this all seems to come hot on the heels of Media Molecule showing the game off to multiple different outlets out there but also in preparation for E3. Nonetheless, we have more to look at for Dreams here and it truly shows off how pretty much anyone out there will be able to make their own levels and "games" once it all comes to the PS4. There is still no release date for the game but we also have another little update for the game that came along with this gameplay footage. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It sure has been one exciting week in video games here and there was so much to cover I did not think we would get to it all. Thankfully, we did and nothing much was left on the cutting room floor. From all the new RAGE 2 announcements and gameplay to the first look at the next Call Of Duty things ran rather high all week. We even were able to see more for Agony and see a whole new survival game with Green Hell. Read More...

More gameplay for Days Gone is here and it gives us a nice look at some end game content for Days Gone as well as some outpost style play We still may need to wait until 2019 to finally get Days Gone on the PS4, but that does not mean we do not have some new gameplay to look at and get excited over. Even if it is all alpha footage for the game, it gives us a nice look and feel for what Bend Studio is working toward and also some of the end game content, or close to the end of game content, we have to look forward too. Not only that, but we also have a nice long look at other kinds of missions and outpost we will have to tackle in Days Gone when all is said and done. Read More...

New gameplay for Green Hell is here and it gives us a solid look at just how much we will have to manage is we want to survive this Green Hell Earlier in the week we had the announcement that Green Hell was coming and that it was going to put us in the middle of "the shit" of surviving the Amazon Rainforest in first-person mode. The idea sounded intriguing and the little bit of gameplay that came with that announcement was fun, but now we have a whole lot more fresh from Creepy Jar that shows off just how much surviving we are going to have to do. Spoiler alert… there is going to be a lot of surviving we will have to do in Green Hell. Read More...

A bunch of new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts III is out there now after some big press demos showing off some large boss fights from Kingdom Hearts III Recently, select media outlets were given a chance to play a bit of Kingdom Hearts III and see where the game has progressed to. It looks like today was the day that Square Enix lifted the lock on the releasing of all of those impressions and feelings on where the game is at so far which means that we have a lot of new B-roll and off-screen gameplay to look at and dissect. I would have thought we would have needed to wait until after E3 for all of this, but it looks like Kingdom Hearts III is getting a head start like a few other titles out there. I will not complain, even though it makes it seem like we may not have much more to experience here in a few week's time. Read More...

It has been officially revealed that Battlefield V will be the next game in the Battlefield line and we will have a live reveal next week The headline here kind of says it all, but Battlefield V has been set as the official name for the next entry into the franchise with EA and DICE setting up a live event where the game will be shown off for the first time. I wish there was more to officially state for this reveal, but that is about the extent of what we have been given in terms of details and we will have to wait until May 23rd for Trevor Noah to give us more of the skinny. Him and some of the actual developers for Battlefield V will be giving us those details, but obviously the larger performer is what they are trying to use as the pull for us fans of the franchise and non-fans of the franchise.
