There is going to be a closed beta for Sea Of Thieves here soon to make sure players know what they are getting into with Sea Of Thieves as well as fix some bugs, presumably It looks like those wanting to try Sea Of Thieves before shelling out their cash for it will get their chance to do so here in a few weeks. It has just been announced that Rare will be holding a closed beta for the game between January 24th and January 29th so players on the Xbox One and PC can see if this is going to be a game for them, but also to test out the servers and game before the March 20th release of the game. Feelings for Sea Of Thieves have been mixed among those who have seen some of the game already, and this could be a great way to entice more players in. Read More...

A new trailer for Call Of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies is here and brings us a look at the next chapter of this Call Of Duty mode that is sure to chill your bones While we all knew that the next part to Call Of Duty: WWII's Nazi Zombies was dropping on January 30th for the PS4, sorry Xbox One and PC fans, we had yet to have a good look at what we may get to experience in the new chapter. It is how all of this rolls and while Sledgehammer Games has brought so fun already with the mode, it is time for Activision to step in with those marketing bucks to get you to pick up the DLC for some extra cash. It is the same song and dance we have had for the Call Of Duty franchise thus far, so it makes perfect sense to see it again. Read More...

More behind the scenes information for God Of War is out there now that explains how God Of War has evolved to where it is now as well as the removal of mechanics The information for God Of War continues to flow out there as Santa Monica Studio has opted to give January the big content push and here we have a new look at how the franchise has evolved into where it is now and possibly what to expect in the future. Evolved being the term that the heads of the project have opted to use as it does feel like that is the case here. More so since they are not branding it as a reboot or reimagining of God Of War but more of the next chapter to Kratos' character development. Read More...

New updates are coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins before the end of the month and one of them happens to be the first major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins Hopefully you have not put Assassin’s Creed Origins down just yet as it looks like Ubisoft is gearing up to bring the first major update to the game here in real short order. Short order as in the next few weeks before January comes to a close. We will see the first expansion, The Hidden Ones, landing its way into Assassin’s Creed Origins and further expanding out the world of the game and its story. Read More...

A new teaser for The Inpatient is here to show off just how The Inpatient will feel and what kinds of fears we can expect to see In a few weeks, those gamers out there who happen to have a nice PS VR will get to experience what The Inpatient has in store for them. Those who do not will be left to wonder what Supermassive Games has crafted and came up with before Until Dawn in terms of story. It is weird to have an exclusive on an exclusive given that not all PS4 owners have gone VR just yet, but The Inpatient could be one of those titles that causes a shift and more players to drop their hard-earned cash. Unless they are all cool with either missing out or watching what is going on through non-VR videos out there of other people playing the game. Read More...

The first-person sci-fi mystery game, The Station, has been dated for the PS4 and you can see a bit more of The Station in action right here For those out there who enjoy mysteries and puzzle-solving while set in a futuristic space station, then you are in luck as The Station has been given a release date for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. That is of course if you all missed out on it from before and wanted to give it a good go, but that does not change the fact that you can give it a play on February 20th. Although, given the fact that there does not look to be many gameplay videos out there for The Station, this may be just what the game needed to get up and out there for gamers today. Read More...

More than five minutes worth of Metal Gear Survive gameplay is out there now and it shows off more of the single player of Metal Gear Survive as well as the crafting system If you had any doubts about Metal Gear Survive having a solid single-player game mixed into it all, then you may still be holding on to your doubts but that does not change the fact that we have some new gameplay to look at for it. Konami has opted to let IGN release another five to six minutes of the solo play for the game to show off that it will not just be waves after waves of the "zombie" enemies with your buddies. It looks like there will be some true reason for us to be out there in the world of Metal Gear Survive and collecting others who have managed to survive the world and fog that plagues it all. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with the first week of video games in the bag and we hit the ground running pretty hard. It may not have been filled with the biggest of titles or the most news, but we did have a whole lot of new content to go through and look into. We even had a few titles listed here that will be releasing in the coming weeks that some may have only heard of for the first time here. Not to mention all of the Monster Hunter: World and God Of War information we had dropped on us out of nowhere. Read More...

New details and gameplay for God Of War is here and this may not be the same God Of War we are used to and looking forward to in the future Details and gameplay for God Of War have been so sparse up to now, and they still are a bit, but it looks like it will be the main focus for one of the large outlets out there for the whole month. That means we will have a whole lot to look forward to in terms of anything out of Santa Monica Studio. Hopefully, we will get a solid release date at the end of the month for God Of War, but the team has been very adamant on it coming when it is fully ready. Read More...

We have our first good look at Injustice 2's Enchantress here and can look to add her to the Injustice 2 roster just as quick as she looks to be Get ready for a bit more magic to come to Injustice 2 as we have our first solid look at Enchantress and can confirm that she will be coming on January 9th. At least for those who have picked up the Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Pack, or the Fighter Pack 3 DLC. Maybe NetherRealm Studios will also have her out there as a standalone DLC at some point, but there are your options and I am guessing many of us out there have one of these already picked up for Injustice 2. Gaming peripheral maker Mad Catz is back after only being dead to the world for a short while and hitting us hard with new Mad Catz products for CES Early last year we all caught wind that Mad Catz was filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, was thought to be liquidating, and looking like it would not be coming back to bring us any more hardware to play our games with. It was sad news for a lot and seemed like we would need to start looking to the competition for more of what we wanted for our PC and/or consoles. At least if you are into having flashier things and cool add-ons to make your gaming experience just that little bit extra special. Read More...

Noted data miner may have found some new things for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition that would include many old stages from Street Fighter's long history Even with such little time before Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition hits the PS4 and PC, it looks like the rumors and such keep on rolling. One would think that Capcom would have had all the details out there for the game by now as January 16th is so close, but there may have been a few things hidden or just not ready to launch on that date. At least if the recent data mining for this version of Street Fighter V has anything to say about it. Read More...

A new VR title named Cold Iron is coming to us all soon and Cold Iron looks to give us all a new type of game to play in the space that we have yet to experience It looks like we are getting a new VR experience here as we have Cold Iron announced here and hitting the PSVR, Oculus, and Vive on January 30th. That is of this year and not next, so we have quite some quick turnaround here from Catch & Release who is putting it all together for us. It is even more impressive as it also sounds like they are trying to kick off a new genre type in the VR space with Cold Iron. Read More...

The console version of Mutant Football League is set to drop in a few weeks now and will give fans all of the Mutant Football League goodness they have been waiting for It has been a good long while since our consoles have seen Mutant Football and now, after 25 years or so, Mutant Football League is making it back and landing on the PS4 and Xbox One. This would be the same title that Digital Dreams has out there on the PC back in October, but now it is all ready to come to the consoles again and bring all of the high-impact fun there. It was a promise we heard and now it is coming to fruition on January 19th. Read More...
