All kinds of new things are coming to Friday The 13th: The Game here as the latest update is about to drop for Friday The 13th today…for most A nice big update is coming here today for Friday The 13th: The Game on the PS4 and PC. Sometime soon for the Xbox One crowd out there. This new update is bringing a whole lot of new things that IllFonic has been working on and it will include some items that fans of the game have been hoping for as well as a lot of fun little extras to the game. It is not the new mode that we have been teased with by Gun Media, but we are getting another counselor for Friday The 13th, a raised level cap, the Virtual Cabin 2.0, and the option to play the game offline and all on our own. If you missed out on the PSX tour of God Of War this year, then you are in luck as you can experience all of the God Of War that was shown there While we still may have been left wanting for more gameplay for God Of War here, we do have a bit more in terms of the game's story and background. At least for one of the characters we will be adventuring with here as Santa Monica Studio made sure to capture the guided tour they had at this year's PSX that went into detail on one of Atreus' first adventures. He is a curious child and it seems that there will be more going on with him in the game than just being backup support or one long escort mission. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games down for the year and only a few more to go. So much we all want to know out there and so much that the developers and publishers just will not give us. At least not give us so we do not spoil any of those video games out there. God Of War and Far Cry 5 could become unplayable if we had everything spoiled for us right out of the gate. Read More...

A new gameplay snippet for Darksiders III is here and shows us a new location in Darksiders III and other creatures we will need to take down We finally have a bit more for Darksiders III to take a look at here as it seems like Gunfire Games has been a bit on the quiet side of things for the title lately. That or it has been THQ Nordic holding things back for unspecified reasons to build more anticipation for their game. Nonetheless, here we are with another small glimpse of the game with some more actual gameplay. Read More...

A lot of gameplay for Far Cry 5 has been released and it shows off the open world of Far Cry 5 better than we have seen so far Far Cry 5 may have been pushed back to March 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but that does not mean that we are not going to get flooded with new gameplay to look and get us hyped up for the game. This is Ubisoft after all and they will want us to see all the flashy visuals and explosions as possible to get us to shell out more cash for the game. This is most likely why we now have almost a half hour of new footage for Far Cry 5 to look at and see how the open world of the game will be as dynamic as some of us have wanted but also as lush as it should be. The first ‘episode’ of Wolfenstein II’s DLC is here to give us more of the other resistance fighters we have seen or heard of in Wolfenstein II already While I am sure that a good portion of you out there will be checking out Star Wars here, that does not discount the fact that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus's first full DLC "episode" has been dropped out there in the wilds. If anything it will be a nice "go back to" after you get back to your games and have a chance to see how Machine Games is carrying on the continued killing of Nazi Scum with the previously mentioned Gunslinger Joe. Previously mentioned in the episode zero of Wolfenstein II that you may have enjoyed for free already, but also in the headline here and other marketing videos that have been out there. Read More...

The latest gameplay trailer for Extinction is here and it gives us all a good look at how we will have to tackle different enemies in Extinction It has been a good while since we saw anything for Extinction and now seems like as good of a time as any to check back in and see just where Iron Galaxy is with the game. I know they have been working hard on it and were making this already impressive title look and feel even more so for when it lands next Spring for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have had a bit of the gameplay so far for Extinction, or at least what Maximum Games wanted out there, and this gave us a nice look at some of the core gameplay and armors that the Ravenii will be wearing to make things a bit harder for us to just kill them quickly. Get introduced to A Way Out's two main characters that we will get to experience from start to finish in co-op during A Way Out A little while back, we heard of a new game coming out from Hazelight Studios called A Way Out. Many equated it to a video game version of Prison Break or similar stories like it. Not shocking as we do get to play as Leo and Vincent who do make one of those daring escapes, but also with a lot more going on in the game. The Game Awards this year showed us a bit more for A Way Out and the two main characters we would be taking the roles of. Read More...

A new behind the scenes video for The Inpatient is here to show us just how much further into the experience The Inpatient will take us besides just VR It is no surprise that games like The Inpatient are aiming to give us all the best immersion that we can hope for on the PS VR. That is kind of one of the things that VR is all about, but it looks like there was a lot more for this game than Supermassive Games had to show earlier on. At least out of the demos I have played, but come January 23rd it looks like we are all going to have even more reasons to give The Inpatient a go as they have many other hidden gems mixed in to bring the immersion level to an all-time high. At least for this title and on the PS4, but still it is a pretty solid feat to have accomplished when you look at it. Read More...

We have a new comparison video for Shadow Of The Colossus to show just how much work the remaster of Shadow Of The Colossus has been given More footage for Shadow Of The Colossus has been placed out there and placed out there to make sure that we all know how much work Bluepoint Games has put into making this the best version of the game to date. That would have always been the assumption for a remake or a remaster of any game, but now we get to see it all with our own eyes. That and we get to see just how Shadow Of The Colossus truly looked back on the PS2 and PS3 days there and then long for the day that it hits the PS4. Read More...

A new video for Metal Gear Survive is here to show off more of the game and just where Metal Gear Survive falls in the story of the overall IP All of those little bits for Metal Gear Survive were nice and all, but now it is time to get some real substance for the game. There have been many things still questions about it all ever since Konami announced it was coming and gave us all a first look at it. With it hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on February 20th, as we assumed before, now is the time to get more of the details out there and that is what we have here for you. At least if you are looking to play the single-player mode of Metal Gear Survive more than anything. Read More...

Out at PSX God Of War was on display with the same trailer we have had, but there were new details for God Of War mixed in One of the things that many people were hoping to hear out of this year's PSX was a solid release date or any real update to God Of War since we had the new trailer out of Paris Games Week. Sadly, the event has come and gone and very little else was doled out there from Santa Monica Studio for it all. The developers did have a nice little sit down to discuss the game as well as a few extra words on the gameplay clip we had back in October. Read More...

The gold edition for Resident Evil 7 is here and now we have a new look at Joe Baker for Resident Evil 7 and just what he is looking to do Today is the day that Resident Evil 7's Gold Edition is hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and that means that all of the DLC we have been waiting for is also hitting the systems to fill out the game just a bit more. That's right, as well as this big bundle for the game that Capcom has for us, they also have all of the DLC out there from the Not A Hero bit where we take on the role of Chris Redfield again, but also the "found footage" part where we get to meet Joe Baker. Yes, there is one more to the clan of villains in Resident Evil 7 and this just happens to be the grizzled man we have seen in the past teasers for the DLC. Read More...

A new trailer for Metro Exodus shows how hope may not be lost in the game's universe and also maybe the release date for Metro Exodus During The Game Awards we had a nice new look at Metro Exodus and a bit more of how the game's world has progressed from where we last left it and all of the horrors that laid within. Things have always been bleak in the world that 4A Games has brought to life in this FPS, but this latest trailer looks to give us all a little bit of hope. At least that seems to be the theme here in this trailer and whether or not that is true, we at least get a fun new look at Metro Exodus and just what is going on. Read More...
