Comic Con '09 Hands-On Impressions Dragon Age: Origins
by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2009 - 07:23 PM ]
After a short walk from the San Diego Convention center to the Hilton Gas Lamp, I found myself standing in line to play one of the most anticipated games this year at the EA games lounge. I received some free swag (blow up sword!) to get my excitement pumped up until I walked in the double doors and made a quick left to a PC version of Dragon Age: Origins. Just my luck, a previous player had just finished and walked away, giving me the opportunity to hop in the hot seat and start from scratch. Let me start off by saying, visually this game is stunning on PC. Read More...

Comic Con Issue #1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2009 - 12:30 PM ]
Thursday: The First Official Day Earlier, I brought you what went on at the preview night of the convention as well as how it has changed quite a bit. For the worse in my opinion. But that didn't keep me or the Aggrogamer team from pressing on to the first official day of the convention. A day that I deemed EA day. A day full of games, small reveals, lounging, and a few extra after hours events. It'll make sense when you continue down. Read More...

Comic Con '09 Hands-On Impressions of Brütal Legend
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2009 - 09:39 PM ]
Brütal Legend Take Two As you may have known if you follow Corey or myself on Twitter at all, you would have seen how mush the PR train was rolling at Comic Con this year. It was Huge! But it wasn't just about the free stuff they were giving out or events they were putting on. They also had an updated version of the demo for this game. They also had the game on a few more platforms for us all to take in. Not to mention the fact that they had more kiosks to play on, thus shorter lines and waiting than at E3. Read More...

Comic Con Issue #0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2009 - 07:23 PM ]
Preview Night Comic Con 2009, has come and gone. While San Diego cleans up after the mess that was left behind from the geek's the world over, I figured I'd give you all a daily recap of what happened during the con as well as a little of the after hours stuff that we at Aggrogamer were able to partake in. By we, myself and Corey. But we still left a heavy presence behind. Read More...

Comic Con '09 Hands-On Impressions of Dante's Inferno
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2009 - 05:47 PM ]
Dante's Inferno So at E3 this year, we were all given some great teases as to what to expect for Dante's Inferno from EA. All in the form of an extended trailer and a little bit of watching the designers play through a level showing off their game. No solid hands on experience, but it was still a great sight to see. But it did leave me wanting more to really get a feel for the game. Something EA was obviously waiting to let people do at Comic Con. Read More...

New Prototype Screens&Comic Information So if you were some of the lucky who made it to this years Comic Con in New York, this isn't the only one even though, you might have been able to take a gander at some further footage of how Activision's new game Prototype is shaping up. If not, below are some more screen shots of the game. These make the game look that much better as well. I mean, close up on Alex punching a dude through the chest. Read More...

I'll See You Infamous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of February 2009 - 07:09 PM ]
New Infamous Screens And Video More visuals for Infamous have surfaced online from the New York Comic Con for all of us to watch the great continuation of this game. Not only are there some interesting screens of what can be assumed to be some of the powers, but there is a video clip of what these powers look like. Thus making my lead up in that sentence null and void. The assumption part at least. Read More...
