The Road Warrior Said It, So It Must Be True

Mad Max: The Game

Maybe it is just me, but I think this is awesome. Mad Max the game. I mean come on. If you haven't seen the film, I recommend picking it up for at least a rent. NetFlix == Friend. For those who do know what I am talking about, here's the skinny.

Writer/Director/Producer George Miller has gotten balls deep in Video Games. And he thought, "Hey there is some stuff I could do with digital media that I couldn't with film." [That's me paraphrasing.] So he began talking to the man behind the God of War franchise, well the director there, and came to thinking of doing a game. It was originally rumored to maybe being a JLA game, but it looks like the Mad Max won out.

Do you already know the first game project that you and Cory will be working on?

Well, the first one will be a "Mad Max" game. Because what happened was, we were all ready to go, within eleven weeks of shooting the next "Mad Max" movie, "Fury Road." This was way back when the war in Iraq started, and that really threw this out for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which was that the American dollar crashed against the Australian dollar. And apart from that, just insurances, getting vehicles and stuff there on container ships--all that slowed down around the world. So we had to move on to "Happy Feet," because that was going to take a long time.
