Firebird And VooDoo

So when I first heard about this little marvel, I was a little skeptical. It just did not look like ti would have the power behind what was claimed. I mean, look at the picture there and tell me it does not look like it is something like an E-Machine. But it packs a serious punch. I mean look at the specs below. Those are the ones for the $1800 version. Which when you look at the price plan, is not that bad at all.

* Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66 GHz with 6MB L2 cache
* Nvidia Nforce 760S chipset
* 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
* 2 x 512 MB Nvidia GeForce 9800S graphics cards
* 2 x 250 GB 5,400 rpm hard drives
* Dual-layer DVD burner
* Gigabit Ethernet
* Integrated audio
That being said and show, I got to hands on with it and it is just as sexy as it sounds. Also After talking to the lead designer for this system, I rest asured that, even for an HP, I will not change that opinion. There is just something about running Left 4 Dead at 120 FPS that makes me drool like the zombies I am killing. Even though, for some reason, there were loads of people around the system that had no idea what that game was. But that's off topic.

The whole system is whisper quiet with the connectors all in the right place. He even made mention about how some people he has talked to about this system state that it is something they can see placing next to their main entertainment set ups to use. It does have HDMI out from the system amongst the loads of other connectors so I can see how that would work well with most gamer home entertainment centers. At least mine, if anyone wants to hook up an early Birthday gift.

Note: I should be able to get some video up soon for this one as well soon.
