The release date for Gears Of War 4 has been set in stone for later this year and Gears Of War fans will also be able to take part in a multiplayer beta
The curtain has been pulled back and now Gears Of War 4 has a solid release date other than Holiday 2016. It looks like The Coalition is wrapping things up nicely and we will be seeing the game on October 11th as of right now. Of course things could change between now and then but it looks like all you gear-heads will be getting another Gears Of War fix in October. Let the partying begin and let the blood and guts flow like wine…
It only took a little under a year to get that out there for us all but since Microsoft's big event at E3 last year it looks like a lot of care has been in place to make sure Gears Of War 4 went along smooth. It would have seemed to make a bit more sense to wait until this year's E3 event to get the ball rolling and the excitement flowing but as it seems there is more up the sleeves of everyone over there as of right now.
Gears Of War 4 marks the beginning of an epic new saga for one of gaming’s most celebrated franchises, as a new band of heroes rises to confront a fearsome new threat. Hearkening back to the dark and intense roots of the original classic, fans can expect a familiar, yet distinct evolution of gameplay, including brutal and intimate action, a heart-pounding campaign, genre-defining multiplayer and stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4.
What could that be? Well it looks like they couldn't wait until June to make the announcement as there is now a planned multiplayer beta for Gears Of War 4 slated on April 18th. At least a closed beta for those who gave Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition as spin on the Xbox One or their Windows 10 devices. Of course The Coalition knows its fan-base is much larger so anyone who has an Xbox Live Gold account on April 25th will also be able to join in the early fun.
As of right now there is no word on what will be in said beta when it goes live but I am sure that word of all those ins and outs will be forthcoming soon. At least it would make a nice update for all who want to set aside the time in the midst of all of the other beta action going on around the same time.
