Golden Eye 007: Reloaded Announced At Comic-Con '11

"GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is a contemporary James Bond experience featuring HD visuals and realistic environments running at 60-frames per second, akin to today's elite action games. Additional to the legendary story campaign, the game introduces the brand new 'Mi6 Ops Missions' - new, distinct levels separate from the campaign that span the varied environments from the story and challenge players to complete different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives.

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded also takes multiplayer to new heights, maintaining and improving its renowned four-player split-screen action and adding full, adrenaline-pumping 16-player online matches with more maps, weapons, characters and game modes than ever before.

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is pretty much a graphical reboot of the original game, but this time for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Although this is the same game, content-wise, the game engine has been re-built from the ground up and brought up to speed visually to compete with today's popular shooters like CoD. A new MI6 mode has been implemented putting players into a short single player missions with adjustable difficulty and play style options. This new version will also include a new leader board system.

Multiplayer comes back to life with the original 4 player split screen mode, and 16 player online support. Eurocom promises more expansion on maps and modes, so hopefully this content will seem new and fresh.

This really is the game for the GoldenEye fans that have waited so long for a higher quality version. Built from the ground up and it looks amazing. With so many FPS's out there is GoldenEye still a contender? Can it dethrone CoD? I guess we will find out this fall.
