It almost seems like it has been ages since the first BioShock came out and rocked the gaming world and Survival Horror and FPS genres. With deep intriguing story and creepy as fuck visuals and audio. All wrapping up into what seemed like a nice ending to it all. Well at least if you didn't see the continuation video that did more than just tease BioShock 2. Then after that, we had to wait almost two more years to get the sequel we fans were all hoping for. Which, here we sit a mere week away from that day.
With that week quickly closing and the game competing with a strong competitor, Dante's Inferno, for a place in every gamers video game collection, it was time for a new and truly awesome trailer for the game. While EA is dropping millions on a pretty cool 30 second spot during the big game, 2K Games has decided to give us a whopping 3 minutes and 35 seconds of a fully rendered video showing off a bit of what BioShock 2 is going to be all about. Well at least from the perceptions of the Big Daddy and Little Sisters.
Yes, it is not a gameplay video or trailer, but it does not make it any less awesome. In fact I loved every spoiler-free second of the trailer below here. From the Spider Splicer running after the little sister, to seeing how the plasmids would look in full CGI, to a huge build up to a fight between Big Daddy and Big Sister. All ending in a great phrased inline with the entire purpose of Rapture, "We Will You Be Reborn."
