Dante's Inferno Is Taking The PS3 To Hell Early

Title the "Divine Edition," any one that is getting this game on the PS3 will be getting a version that has the game sound track, a digital art book, the complete Longfellow translation of the original story, and all those developer commentaries we've been getting every month. All for the same price the XBox users will be paying, $59.99. But there is something odd about this exclusive, why only for one of Sony's platforms? Why not both?

I completely understand the choice made here. As it is obvious one of EA's other developers, Valve, has made it know that the PS3 can "fuck right off." It only seems right that one of their others would look at the XBox and say, "Yea, well we are giving the PS3 owners something you XBox fan boys will be drooling over." That I get. But why not a scaled back version of something like this on the PSP. Like it comes with extra downloadable content or an extra UMD with all of the above mentioned goodies. That would just make sense I guess.

In any instance, here is a shot of what the PS3 box of Divine goodness will look like.

Oh, and I almost forgot, as of today (12/10/09) PS3 owners can download the Gates of Hell demo for Dante's Inferno. While the XBox fan boys are going to have to wait until Christmas Eve, the 24th for you non-Christians or you retardababies out there. For more, read the presser below.
