Making Getting A Job Testing Games A Game

Yesterday (9/3/09), Sony and the SCEA Studios are giving gamers just that chance. The chance to be one of their game testers for at least a year. Not only that, but to be paid to be one of their game testers for a year. Something that is nigh impossible for someone to get into even though they have all the qualifications for it. The job not the show.

As of right now, they are only doing the casting for the show. All via the PlayStation official website. All they require is that you are 21, can work in the U.S., a short three essay questionnaire, and a video stating why you would be the perfect candidate for the testing job and show. From there if you are chosen, you will have to face-off, with other gamers, in a series of elimination challenges designed to test your mental toughness, endurance, and video game knowledge. All for our amusement.

Hey, could it be worse than the WCG's Ultimate Gamer? Maybe, but it could be fun.
