EA Confirms Release Date For FIFA 10

Soccer fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to get their hands on the latest installment of EA Sports ultra-successful football (yes I called it football, not soccer) franchise. Today it’s been made official that FIFA 10 will hit store shelves worldwide on October 2nd. FIFA 10 will be available for practically every system from home consoles to PC to handheld systems and Apple’s iPhone/iPod Touch as well as other mobile phones and devices. Unfortunately for PlayStation 2 owners, this will be the final year FIFA will appear on the system which is basically a sign that you should probably go out and buy a PlayStation 3 already.

A lot of focus has been centered around improving many smaller aspects of the overall gameplay including an improvement to the A.I. in nearly every position on the field, improvements in tracking and trapping aerial balls, and more refined and realistic ball physics. The Manager Mode has been revamped somewhat with the ability to receive updates regarding teams from around the world. Player growth, staff upgrades the experience points system have all also been altered and improved. Also the all-new "360° Dribbling System" will give players a new level of control as you take on defenders and turn them inside out with all sorts of skillful dribbling.
