The Punisher Doesn't Do Mercy

With Transformers giving you the explosions and fireworks to start of the 4th of July (United States Holiday), ZEN Studios figured they would give PSN users the Bang. Yes, that was a bad stretch to get this worked in, but who cares what you think?* It worked for a good lead into what this is all about.

Before you skip on to read the release below, let me sum it up for you.

You may have heard a while back that there was a new Punisher game coming out that was not based on the films. You may have also heard that it was coming out only on the PSN. Both of which are very true. But there were no details on it outside of the fact that it was going to be based on the comic books mainly and use the powerhouse Unreal 3 Engine. Which being the case, also meant that there was online functionality already in place for the game through the engine. Also all true.

Well is has just been announced that you will get a chance to play with this new game on the 2nd of July. One week from now. It was also let loose that it will be available for download at the relatively low price of $9.99 USD. Not to shabby for what seems to be like a good Unreal Tournament mod with Marvel licensed characters.

I for one am going to give this game a real good play, and then some. I can't wait to play as one of the best Marvel Anti-Heroes ever drawn on paper or PC.**

* Aggrogamer.com and Pwned.com really do care what you think.

** Second best, as Deadpool is the best. If you ignore the Wolverine version.
