Hold The Door We Have Some New For Honor Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
New highlights of the For Honor gameplay seen out at E3 have popped up online and we get to see how For Honor's combat system works As always happens at events like E3 it looks like some extra gameplay for For Honor fell through the cracks and was missed out on. I know I was too busy looking at all of the other titles Ubisoft had on hand and missed out myself. Which is sad because it looks like some of For Honor's combat was shown off in quite a bit of detail and I missed out on all of it. Of course this might have meant I had to wait until February 14th to see it in action on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but thankfully I don't and neither do you. Read More…

Ana Joins The Good Fight In Overwatch Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Another new character has been announced for Overwatch and this one comes in the way of a 'dead' member of Overwatch coming back to fight the good fight As if the roster of Overwatch wasn't large enough already it looks like we are getting yet another character added into the mix. I guess it is a good sign that Blizzard is bringing another new character as it definitely shows that they are fully backing the title and not just releasing and forgetting. Not that I thought they would do that to Overwatch in the first place but it is always a good sign to see them continuing the work. Now we have Ana to join into mix and it looks like she has a hard story to bring into the game when the update hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More…

It's Time To Answer The Call With The New Ghostbusters Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new trailer for the new Ghostbusters video games has been released and we get to see just how the Ghostbusters will answer the call The new Ghostbusters comes out this week and looks like it is doing well in the reviews so far but just in case you want a bit to tide you over until Friday the new game based around the new story's event is here. That's right, Activision and Sony have brought their latest addition into the video game portion of the franchise to us and it is linked a bit and out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this version of Ghostbusters isn't just a cheap tie-in for the film even though that has always been the concern since it was first announced. Read More…

Harbingers Are Coming To World Of Warcraft's New Expansion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
As we get ready for the next World Of Warcraft expansion it looks like we are getting some new World Of Warcraft animated shorts to help us along There is still over a month's wait for the next big World Of Warcraft expansion Legion and we all know that the wait is killing most of us. Thankfully as we wait for the expansion to land on August 30th Blizzard is giving us some kind of relief in terms of new animated shorts for the game's story. Kind of fitting for the sixth major expansion for World Of Warcraft and just kind of given the company's trend before and as of late. Read More…

Brawlout Adds Another Platforming Brawler To All Current Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The reveal for Brawlout has been made public and we get a quick look at Brawlout's gameplay as it brings the platform brawling genre to us again If you felt like you needed a new platforming brawler title, then let me show you Brawlout here. This is just what I was talking about coming out of the minds at Angry Mob Games and set to hit early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Finally, we get a brawling game that isn't a console exclusive or something and I'm glad to see Brawlout giving the genre another try. Of course I'll be even more glad once the full reveal and gameplay comes out of the first major showing of the game during EVO this weekend. Read More…

Batman: Return To Arkham May Be Launching In November
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like the delay of Batman: Return To Arkham may not be as long as most of us feared as sources claim Return To Arkham will be launching in November While this is still in the realm of speculation it looks like sources close to Batman: Return To Arkham state that we should be seeing the bundle released sometime in November of this year. At least that is what is being reported out there on Rocksteady Games' new collection after it was delayed instead of being released tomorrow. That was the original date that we were supposed to see Return To Arkham out there but things didn't look perfect according to Warner Bros. Read More…

A New Live Action Horror Title, The Bunker, Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A new horror game, The Bunker, is coming out this September and The Bunker features Live Action play instead of traditional character models It has been very far between when a video game uses live actors instead of polygons for gameplay but here we go with The Bunker. This is a new horror title coming out of Splendy Games for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. It had a very small announcement back in April of this year but it looks like Wales Interactive wants to bring The Bunker to us all this September. No specific date has been announced as of yet but this is a step up from there being nothing when wind first started to pick up for it. Read More…

Let's All Get Immersed In The Gameplay Of Battlefield 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
New Battlefield 1 gameplay has been shared out of the closed alpha and it shows just how immersive Battlefield 1 will be Last week we had a nice long look at Battlefield 1's domination mode in action right from the closed alpha test that EA has going on right now. It looked a bit on the lower end of the scale that we all know that DICE can produce for us. At least it did to me and it made me think what we would see on the PS4 and Xbox One for Battlefield 1 was going to be even worse. All of this being based on the PC footage here and October 21st truly isn't that far off when you get into the nitty gritty here. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 7/4/16 — 7/8/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games One more week in video games is in the bad now and it has been another fun one. We were able to see Evolve go free-to-play, how South Park is taking comedy serious here, and also a whole bunch of new Battlefield 1 gameplay to tide us over for a bit. We also had the chance to review three more video games here this week with some highs and some lows. It pains me to see horrible game reviews but then again it is our job to tell the developers when they have given us trash and when they have given us gold. Read More…

World Of Final Fantasy's Gameplay Looks As Awesome As The Characters Involved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay for World Of Final Fantasy has been placed out in the wild for us as well as some break downs on World Of Final Fantasy's combat/collection system We had our first taste of World Of Final Fantasy during E3 and it was really only in the form of a trailer that Square Enix had for us during the event. That and a little bit that they had on the show floor but it didn't really give us much to go on outside of it was coming and the art style. Now we fast forward almost a month since we first heard of World Of Final Fantasy and now we have some solid gameplay to show off. Read More…

No Man's Sky Has Finally Gone Gold So Stop With Your Hate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
It has just been confirmed that No Man's Sky has finally hit gold status and No Man's Sky will be hitting it new release date It seems like only a month ago that we were hearing about death threats over No Man's Sky being delayed until August 9th. Thankfully the pillow forts that were built over at Hello Games to shield them all worked as it looks like they have no wrapped up development and the game is ready to start going into the process to come out to us. Now the only delays we may see for No Man's Sky will be if the marketing team feels like they need more time to sell more copies. As if the rabid and, to me still unfounded, love wouldn't already be enough already. Read More…

Resident Evil 4 Is Coming To Us Again This August
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for Resident Evil 4 on the current gen systems has been announced and we'll see Resident Evil 4 this August again While it isn't new news that Resident Evil 4 is heading the PS4 and Xbox One directly, that was announced a while back, but now we have a solid release date for when we will get to play the game on the systems. It looks like Capcom has set the date and we will be reliving one of the best additions into the franchise on August 30th now. Hopefully you've been able to play catch up in reverse with all of the other titles announced with Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Corps or most likely waiting until August now to play it all in order. Paragon's Next Hero Is About To Join The Fight To Die
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of July 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The next hero to join Paragon is Greystone and we get to see him fight and die in Paragon only to come back and save the day The next and newest hero to come to Paragon has just been shown off and slated to come with the July 12th update for the game. I've said it before but it looks like Epic Games is really keeping to their schedule and now we have so many more characters on the list since the initial five we were shown back during the announcement of the game. I am curious when it will stop but for now we get to see Paragon's Greystone who is joining the fight on the battle field. Not only that but bringing something we've yet to see in the game. Evolve Has Gone To Stage 2 As It Goes Free To Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of July 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
It has been announced that Evolve is going free to play and you can now download Evolve on the PC to give all the new additions a try If you loved it or hated Evolve it makes no difference as the game is going free-to-play and getting a whole lot of upgrades and changes to the gameplay. As a matter of fact it looks like if you want to give the game a go on PC now that it is free it looks like 2K Games is giving it out to us all for free as of right now. That's right, you can now play Turtle Rock Studios' passion projected, Evolve for free right now on the PC and then later on the PS4 and Xbox One. No word on when that will happen just yet but do know that it is coming. Read More…

Check Out Some New Dominating Battlefield 1 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay for Battlefield 1 has been released out of the closed alpha for Battlefield 1 and it shows off the Domination mode of the game If you have been pining for some new Battlefield 1 gameplay footage and have yet to have had personal access to the closed alpha for the game, then you are in luck. Of course some players out at E3 had the chance to play the game and DICE have given us all a closed beta. It also looks like EA hasn't been too stingy on allowing others to post gameplay of Battlefield 1 online. Read More…
