A Stinker Of An Experience For South Park: The Fractured But Whole
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention. Review — Batman: The Telltale Series — Realm Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — Realm Of Shadows. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did It seemed like a weird time to bring out Batman: The Telltale Series given all of the other titles fighting for the limelight back when the game was first announced. But given that Telltale Games has had a pretty solid record on their storytelling titles to date I know myself and many other tried to ignore all of the other Batman going on to give this version of the franchise a fair shake. Well the first episode of the game has been released and we have been able to play it. Read More…

Mafia 3 Finally Gets Its Throwback & Districts Defined
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Two new video s for Mafia 3 have been released with one showing off the 3rd lieutenant and the other Mafia 3's districts built in the city It looks like I may have spoken too soon on the lieutenant side of things yesterday for Mafia 3. Yes, we had a good behind the scenes look at Cassandra as Hangar 13 has crafted her but I know I was looking to find out about Vito Scaletta and his whole story. Or at least as much of the story for Mafia 3 as 2K Games is willing to give us all as we wait for the October 7th release date for the game. Not so long from now and it looks like we now have a good look at the whole crew and only more to come so they are full fleshed out. Read More…

Review — ADR1FT
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and review ADR1FT. A new exploratory title that shows us some great fears of space. Here's our review of ADR1FT When I first saw ADR1FT I was under the impression it was just another serene space adventure that was a "paint by numbers" kind of design. Then as Three One Zero kept giving us more and more to look at the game evolved and looked like it was becoming truly unique all its own. Now that 505 Games has released the game we have had a chance to play and review ADR1FT in all of its forms outside of just watching nice little trailers. Here's our full review and thoughts on just how the game played and felt along the way. Read More…

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game's Closed Beta Has Been Delayed But Dated
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The closed beta date for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has been pushed off from the original timeline but now we have a solid date for Gwent's closed beta now I hope you weren't sitting around waiting to find out the specific date in September you might be able to give Gwent: The Witcher Card Game a play. If you were then you are going to be let down or left wanting as CD Projekt RED has just stated that they are going to have to delay the closed beta of the game and, most likely, the final release as well. At least it is safe to assume that the full release of Gwent will also be hit with the same delay as I am sure they are going to want to make sure they can get as much testing in before it goes to market; especially based on their reasons for the delay. Get An Even Closer Look At Mafia 3's Cassandra Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Mafia 3 has been let loose and it gives us even more insight into Mafia 3's Cassandra; the Voodoo Queen I know I was looking forward to hearing more about the lieutenants of Mafia 3, specifically the third one, and it looks like we have more right here. Sadly, it isn't on the third lieutenant but a behind the scenes video from Hangar 13 on more of Cassandra's motives and wants in the game and overall story. I was pretty sure that we had a good taste from 2K Games so far on Cassandra out of Mafia 3 to keep us up to snuff until October 7th. I guess it's just time to tease us a bit more and give us another fun look at the writing process of the game. Read More…

Final Fantasy XV's Season Pass Gets A Few More Details & Images
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
New details for Final Fantasy XV's Season Pass bundle have been revealed as well as new Final Fantasy XV screenshots to gaze upon Last week we saw a Season Pass of DLC get listed on all of the digital stores for Final Fantasy XV. Not much was explained on any of it and most of the details we had was based on a translation from the Japanese listing where Square Enix gave only a few more tidbits of information. Fast-forward to today and now we have some solid details on this Final Fantasy XV Season Pass and all of the pre-order bonuses that we will get if we choose to pick it all up before September 30th on the PS4 or Xbox One. Sadly though, the finer details are still left out there in the ether and not fully defined…still. Read More…

Celebrate 10 Years Of Dead Rising By Getting The Remasters This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The remasters of the Dead Rising franchise have a release date just in time for the Dead Rising 10th anniversary that is coming this September Yesterday, August 8th, marked the literal 10th anniversary of Dead Rising's first release date and now it looks like we have a solid date on when we are all going to get to play the remaster of most of the titles that have come out in the franchise to date. I am not certain why Capcom is leaving out the third solid game in the list here but they are. None the less we will be getting all of the other Dead Rising titles remastered and out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th with all of the usual upgrades and additions we should expect. Get Ready For More Night Terrors On Your Mobile Device Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Another new trailer for Night Terrors has been released but sadly no solid update on how Night Terrors' development is going so far It's been a bit of time since we had a solid update on Night Terrors for our Android and iOS devices that will hopefully be coming soon. For those who don't happen to know or remember what this is supposed to be, it is a new Augmented Reality title coming from Novum Analytics that turns your real world home into a nightmare filled haunted house. We' spoken on Night Terrors a few times in the past as it went into its Indigogo campaign to try and get the funds to make sure the team could get all of their tech to work and all of us shitting our pants. History lesson over for now… Like I said though, it's been a bit of time since we saw a solid update on the goings on of Night Terrors and now we have yet another trailer to look at and get an idea of how far the team has progressed. Old-Man Fenix's Tomatoes Get Messed Up In New Gears Of War 4 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Gears Of War 4 has been released and it is aimed to show us how the new enemies of Gears Of War 4, the Deebee, will be a force to fear Only a few months now until we will be playing Gears Of War 4 and seeing all of the new features, missions, and enemies coming to the franchise. The Coalition has been working hard on it all and October 11th will be the date that we all get to see the game in action on the Xbox One and Windows PC. Thankfully though, we won't have to wait that long to get to see some of the new enemies for Gears Of War 4 as we have some new gameplay to look at as Old-Man Fenix and his son fight their way through the game's world and the new enemies called the Deebee. Review — Dead Island Remaster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Dead Island Remaster. The old title has been revamped up for the new systems with all the bells and whistles. Here's our review of Dead Island Remaster It's been almost five years since Dead Island first came out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. In my opinion this is what started Techland off on the road to making some amazing zombie games and now it has been remastered and bundled together by Deep Silver for the PS4, and Xbox One. All of the usual remastered items being added into the mix here for Dead Island to keep us all playing it further and possibly stepping away from the other titles we have out there currently. Thankfully we had the chance to give this remaster a whirl and here is our review of the Dead Island remaster. Read More…

Resident Evil 7 Is Bringing Back The Same Old Way To Heal Yourself
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like Resident Evil 7 isn't going to break the mold with healing items as Resident Evil 7 is getting the same old stuff we've had for decades Time to mark our first bit of un-shocking news down for Resident Evil 7 as we have a look at the way we will heal ourselves in the game. Seeing as Capcom doesn't usually look to break things that already work, it looks like Green Herbs and sprays are coming back to the franchise yet again. Well less of a spray but a drinkable looking bottle but I have a feeling they will all work the same when all is said and done. Read More…

Review — The Technomancer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and review The Technomancer. It's the developer's next foray into the RPG realm with a cyberpunk feel. Here's our review of The Technomancer Here we go with another lesser known RPG game set in a weird future in terms of The Technomancer. This would be the latest RPG title that Spiders has put out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and so far it has been getting mixed reviews. Thankfully Focus Home Interactive gave us the chance to check out The Technomancer and give it a solid play-though. We put the game through its paces and now is the time to let you all know if you should add this game to your play list, back log, or steer clear list. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 8/1/16 — 8/5/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of August 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games That was another great and solid week in video games now wasn't it? We had a whole lot of great and not so great updates for many of the titles we are looking forward to. Yes we did have to see Outlast 2 get delayed and that we will have to pay for the extras on Final Fantasy XV but on the plus side we were able to see amazing things for Hellblade and No Man's Sky. The last game there coming out next week at that. Further proof that video games are always adding to things right up to the launch of titles and then beyond. Read More…

Battlefield 1 Is Going To Have Some Great & Historic Weapons
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new video series for Battlefield 1 has begun and the first video covers Battlefield 1's weapon list and how they were crafted There has been a lot of Battlefield 1 gameplay out there in the recent months and we've seen some good matches come out of the alpha test that is going on. Of course these wouldn't be that interesting if it wasn't for some great weapon design from DICE for the game and it would feel out of place if they didn't feel like they came right out of WWI. Given that Battlefield 1 has a few things to prove and that EA wants it to succeed for specific reasons these points have been hit on the head perfectly and we get to see how. Read More…
