Dishonored 2's Level Possibilities Feel Endless With Their Themed Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Another developer diary for Dishonored 2 has released and this one delves into the endless possibilities that Dishonored 2's levels should feel to have We've seen some great level design so far in Dishonored 2 over the marketing campaign and showing off of the game so far. It looks like it will be another impressive feather in the cap of Arkane Studios when it finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11th. Of course all of that does come with the worry that Bethesda has only allowed the best parts of Dishonored 2 to be shown off so far and have hidden away any blemishes that might be there or will still be there after launch. Not like that never happens in the video game world right? Read More…

Titanfall 2's Single-Player Looks To Be Something Truly Unique
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Titanfall 2 has been released and this time the developers explain how Titanfall 2's single-player will be unique October 28th is rapidly approaching and I know we are all antsy in the pantsy to get our hands on Titanfall 2. Be it for the multiplayer modes we've already experienced or be it for the new and unique single-player campaign that Respawn has crafted for us. No matter the case we are all excited for the game and now we have more to get amped about as we have another look at Titanfall 2's single-player mode and some of the interesting things we are going to get to do besides just shooting and killing. It's not like EA won't have enough titles out there on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC doing just that so it is a bit refreshing I guess. Read More…

Batman: The Telltale Series' Third Episode Has A Date & It's Missing A Face
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The third episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has a release date and it looks like one of Batman's iconic villains is showing his face again It seems like only days ago that we had the second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series release and now we are on the verge of having yet another one release. Thankfully Telltale Games has given us a release date of October 25th as of now for the next episode to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with dates for the other platforms to come later. I am a bit curious to know if anyone has been playing this Batman title on the older systems lately to warrant any kind of concern on the delay for them but as of right now this is the date that we have and we can all deal with it as we want. Take To The Skies Of Battlefield 1 On The Majestic Wings Of A… Pigeon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Details on a new mission for Battlefield 1 show that we will be playing a portion of Battlefield 1 as a pigeon to save the day We've seen some great things for Battlefield 1 so far and I know I am hyped for EA to release the game on October 21st but we have yet another mission to look at for the game and it may not be what you think. Some are questioning the minds over at DICE for this but it looks like we have a small mission mixed in where we play as a pigeon in the middle of the fire fight. That's right, Battlefield 1 will have playable pigeons in the game and it makes sense. Read More…

Hitman Ends Its First Season On Halloween Night…Or Day
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for Hitman's season finally has been released and it looks like season one of Hitman ends at the end of October We've been nice and patient and now we are in the home stretch for Hitman's first season as it looks like we only have a few more weeks to wait until we get the whole story and the final episode of the season in our hands. Io Interactive has just revealed the release date for the final episode of the season and now we can look forward to playing it on October 31st. Kind of odd given that this is a Monday but I'm going to go on a limb and say that Square Enix made some kind of deals to put this episode of Hitman in our hands outside of the norm; most likely to be able to get the retail version another push just before the end of November. Just How Will South Park: The Fractured But Whole Surpass Its Predecessor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new interview with the developers of South Park: The Fractured But Whole shows off just how they are making this new South Park longer and better Recently we had the news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was being delayed until Q1 of 2017 with very little explanation outside of making it a better game and experience for us all. The usual excuse given by developers when they can't make the deadline. The only difference here is that it looks like Ubisoft is going into a bit of the detail as to why we are waiting for our next adventure into South Park on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC as well as a few other things to look forward to. It's About Time To Give Them Hell In Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
New details for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare's beta have been released and it looks like many things have been added for this Call Of Duty multiplayer In just a few days from now we will all be playing in the Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta. Well at least those of us who have gone out and pre-ordered the game and have a guaranteed slot in the beta. Don't worry if you haven't pre-ordered just yet and still want to get in on it all as you have until this Friday (10/14) to do so before Infinity Ward kicks off the first weekend beta for those who want to help test the servers and get a look at the new multiplayer coming to the Call Of Duty franchise. I'm also sure that Activision will love you for spending the cash before November 4th to secure your purchase on top of that. Read More…

Ghost Recon Wildlands Does It Once Again… But Stealthier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
A new version of Ghost Recon Wildlands' E3 demo has released and it shows how to tackle Ghost Recon Wildlands in stealth mode There was a lot of shock and awe back when we first saw the live gameplay for Ghost Recon Wildlands during the E3 conference. It was one of many ways that Ubisoft is going to allow us to tackle the missions set forth when it launches on March 7th of next year. This is all fine and well but it would be nice to see some of those other methods in action for Ghost Recon Wildlands even though we've had the nice explanations of it all being something we can do. On top of that it would be nice to see some of the dynamic weather and lighting going on the game to see just how we can use it all to our advantage to silently take down our enemies. Read More…

Paragon Gets Into The Spirit With Shadow's Eve Skins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
The Halloween festivities kick off for Paragon as new skins will be available for Paragon just in time for the upcoming holiday As is the case everywhere this time of year, Paragon is joining in the Halloween fun by giving us a set of new skins to play in the game. Seven new skins to be exact and for seven of the heroes already crafted for the game by Epic Games already. It looks like we are going to see a whole new side to Paragon here; at least if you are willing to pay and/or play the hell out of the game over the next few weeks. Yes, there are a few catches here to be able to get the skins for free but that is just how life always seems now doesn't it? Read More…

Work Your Ass Off To Ascend In Watch Dogs 2's New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Watch Dogs 2 has been released and we get to see yet another mission in Watch Dogs 2 in ghost/stealth mode Hopefully you haven't been overrun with too much Watch Dogs 2 gameplay or missions just yet. I say that as we have yet another on to look and have some spoilers shown off by Ubisoft to get us all ready for the new game. I guess this is good for those who just can't wait until November 15th to get their hands on Watch Dogs 2. Just over a month can be a hard thing to sit around and wait for I guess and now we get yet another mission from the game to show off gameplay mechanics that we've seen and walked through already. Which Yu Will You Be In Prey When It Releases
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
While Prey is trying to tackle the theme of identity in the game it looks like Prey will let you have some choice in the matter Here we go with another bit of gameplay footage for Prey here although it may not be exactly what you think. As it turns out, Arkane Studios is looking to tackle the "theme of identity" in the game in the midst of all the craziness and horror. Of course this may have been something we've seen and heard a few times from Bethesda already over the last few months but it is being brought up again. Brought up in a way that when Prey finally launches in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC that we will be given a choice. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More…

Death Is Everywhere In Final Fantasy XV & You Can Control It All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Final Fantasy XV has popped up and this time we get to see Final Fantasy XV's death spell in action & a new monster It should be no surprise that one of the most powerful spells in the franchise is coming back to Final Fantasy XV. This would be the Death Spell that sung our end or victory so many times in all of the other titles that Square Enix has given us. While the magic system still seems a bit beyond me in Final Fantasy XV it does look like this spell is coming back to the franchise and that we might have a bit more control over how all of it works. Maybe this is one of those things that delayed the game until November 29th or not. Read More…

Outlast 2 Is Kind Of Here Now For The Halloween Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
While Outlast 2 may still be a few months out, you can give the Outlast 2 demo a play just in time for Halloween To Hit If you were like me then I know you were hoping that Outlast 2 would have made a miraculous showing during the month of fear. I know that Red Barrels had their reasons to push the game off until Q1 of 2017 but that doesn't change the fact that we all wanted something scary for our PS4, Xbox One, or PC during this month. Which is why I am here with some good news as it looks like we all have a way to play Outlast 2 during October here even though it may not be how you were hoping it would be. Beggars can't be choosers so we'll have to take what we can here. Read More…

The Next Beyond Good & Evil Title Is Officially In The Works Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The rumors from before about Beyond Good & Evil's next title being in the works as a new Beyond Good & Evil has been officially announced Just about a week ago we started to see rumors flying about a new Beyond Good & Evil title being in the works. All of this spawned from Michel Ancel, the IP's creator, starting to post concept art from his personal account and not one from Ubisoft. This is why a lot of the Beyond Good & Evil tidbits were filtered under rumor and speculation as he could have just been posting old bits of art for fun and nothing official. That was my original take on it all as I didn't want to get myself too hyped up for nothing in the end. Read More…
