Have A Nice Day With Some New Gameplay For The Surge

More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Maybe they were in smaller viewings but that doesn't detract that Focus Home Interactive has released some new gameplay for The Surge for all of us to enjoy. Or not enjoy. Read More…

Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary Could Be Massive If Rumors Are True

New rumors for Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary celebration have begun to circulate and if true we could be getting all of Final Fantasy in one spot Next year is going to be a big one for Final Fantasy XV as the franchise is hitting its 30th year in the running. It's hard to believe it has been going so strong for that long and it looks like Square Enix is going to be doing something special just for it. That of course is based on news we had from earlier in the year when they opened up a portal site to get us all ready for the 2017 celebration and nothing too new. Some big things are supposedly coming and if you can believe the latest rumors to crop up, we may be getting more Final Fantasy than we want or need next year and running into the following one as well. The final episode of Batman: The Telltale Series' first season is here and we get to join Batman as he heads back into Arkham to save Gotham yet again Today is the day as Batman: The Telltale Series' actions and events all come to a head with the final episode of the season releasing. It sure has been one insane ride through the new take on the franchise that Telltale Games has given us and I know that I have been mostly impressed so far. Especially given my views on the character and all of the villains that he takes on in every comic, show, and film. It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing

After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. The First Super Nintendo World Now Has An Opening Window

The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Only a short three to four year wait and such but it's still better than just saying "it's coming" over and over. Read More…

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Adds Another Comic Character In The Mix

The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season. It's almost as if Telltale Games planned all of this out to happen this way. Granted this episodic version will be spread out over months instead of weeks after the initial debut on December 20th but that doesn't mean that fans won't keep craving it. Read More…

DOOM Gets Another Free Update & Brings In New Multiplayer Modes

The fifth free update for DOOM is here and it brings in some new modes to DOOM's multiplayer among many other updates for the game now Hopefully you weren't thinking of putting DOOM for a bit to give some of these other great games a chance. If you were then you are going to be a bit sore with id Software as they have just released yet another Free Update for the game and it brings a whole new multiplayer mode and the ability to reach the rank of Echelon 11 in the game. It's almost like they don't care about the other titles that Bethesda has brought us and want us all to stay focused on DOOM for as long as they want. A new gameplay feature for Conan Exiles has released to show us just how to survive in the harsh world Conan Exiles is going to bring us soon Surviving is one of the cornerstones of Conan Exiles as we've heard from day one of the announcement. To not have it in there would be really weird given the Conan franchise and universe that has been built around all of this harsh stuff. Funcom has already done a great job with the universe in the past so it makes perfect sense that they would keep it going and now we get to see just how. We Happy Few Gets A Major Update To Entice Us Even More While We Wait

A new update to We Happy Few has been placed out there that fixes some of the current bugs & issues of We Happy Few during its early access phase Back in July the Early Access for We Happy Few went underway for a few of the platforms it will be heading to at some point. Maybe you bought in or maybe you didn't depending on your faith in Compulsion Games, but the option is still there and I know many, myself included, have had a blast with it so far. Yes it's had it bugs and issues but it is a game in progress and we are here to help shape We Happy Few into something we want to fully experience when all is said and done. At least I know I do. The Latest Resident Evil 7 Gameplay Is Truly Disturbing

The Resident Evil 7 gameplay that we had before has been released without overlaid commentary & it makes Resident Evil 7 look truly terrifying Last week, if you recall, we were able to see a lot of other media outlets talk about Resident Evil 7 in terms of a huge demo they were able to play. Something like four to five hours they were able to play and then they all had their little videos describing it all over some great looking b-roll that Capcom provided them. It looked nice but we were all forced to hear about Resident Evil 7 through their point of view when we had some solid gameplay to look at in the background. Read More…

More Story Is Coming To Uncharted With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

At PSX it was shown that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was going to be coming as a massive story DLC bit for Uncharted 4 to carry it on just a little further If you were able to catch anything out of PSX then you know that it all started off with a bang with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy getting shown off. Some thought it could have been another Tomb Raider thing and a few other ideas were floating around but none the less Naughty Dog is bringing yet another great experience to the PS4 with this extra bit of DLC. That's right, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is some DLC for Uncharted 4 in the end; but it is the biggest story DLC that the developers have ever put out and it will keep you playing the final game just a bit longer so that is all good. South Park: The Fractured But Whole Will Have Us Saving Kitties To Start

A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. One can hope and I know that I still have high hopes for South Park and am glad to see that we have a new trailer to look at instead of the game that we should have had. Read More…
