Metroid: Zero Mission
by [ Saturday, 3rd of May 2008 - 08:52 PM ]
My review and opinions on Metroid: Zero Mission for the GBA. Because I still play teh old games.       So there I sat, in my Super Mario pajama pants and my Lrn2play T-shirt, having beaten the final boss in Metroid: Zero Mission and hurdled the last two space pirates to jump into a small ship and narrowly escape the self destructing Mothership... thereby beating the game. I allowed the credits to roll, only to discover I had found only 56% of the items in the game, and it took 4 and a half hours for me to beat (it's a hard game... Read More…

Bo Jackson Not Included In New Tecmo Bowl Game
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 3rd of May 2008 - 09:33 AM ]
While we knew when Tecmo decided to announce Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff for the DS, they couldn't use the NFL license for teams and players thanks to EA holding the exclusive rights.  But when fans petitioned for everyone's either favorite or most despised player in Tecmo Bowl history, Bo Jackson, Tecmo came out stating he will not appear in the game, nor any retired players for that matter.  Anyone who played Tecmo Super Bowl knows that Bo Jackson became the game's standout icon as he was virtually unstoppable, and everyone remembers the fights over who would play as (Does best Chris Berman Interpretation) DA RAIDAHZ!!  Sorry Bo fans, you're stuck finding an old copy of Tecmo Super Bowl to get your "Bo Knows" fix. Squenix Again Teases FFVII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of May 2008 - 04:44 PM ]
Crisis Core: Interviewing Yoshinori Kitase Let me drag the dead horse back out and get my big 11 foot pole. Because I am totally going to keep beating it. Not that I was the first too, but damn it, I'm going to continue the good work. Yes those rumors of a Final Fantasy VII remake are back in circulation again. This time pulled from an interview based around Crisis Core. As you will read below and on the actual interviewer's page, there is a lot of talk about the pre-quels and such, but then the question gets popped again. Read More…

by Taylor Rose [ Friday, 2nd of May 2008 - 04:43 PM ]
This may be fairly old news to any of you hardcore Battlefield fans, but for those of you who haven't heard, the EAD.I.C.E. team behind Battlefield 1942™ and Battlefield 2™ has developed a new cartoon shooter: Battlefie ld Heroes. Set to be released for XP/Vista users this summer, Battlefield Heroes is EA's first title that's completely free to download and play. MADD Wants GTAIV To Have ESRB Rating Boosted to AO
by Michael Camacho [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2008 - 05:05 PM ]
So here we go with Mass Effect style slander, but this time instead of Fox News, we get it from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).  Most likely without ever playing GTA IV, which is reflected in their statement below "where players have to drive drunk", MADD demands the ESRB to raise the game's rating to AO (Adults Only) and requests Rockstar cease publishing of the game. Read the statement below. "Each year nearly 13,500 people die in drunk driving crashes and another half a million are injured in alcohol-related traffic crashes. Read More…

More "Real" Art
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2008 - 12:07 PM ]
Artist Rendition Of Pikachu Nursing Maybe it is just me, but I enjoy seeing these "realistic" artist renditions of imaginary characters. Check out my other Narticle about the others. They are just really fun to see. Bet you never thought that Pikachu breed like a normal animal and such. Maybe Nintendo should incorporate some scenes like these in later releases. At least once the fans of the game grow up and such. Much like how the Harry Potter books got darker and darker as the audience was suppose to be older. Read More…

Start PWNing Other Worlds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2008 - 11:55 AM ]
Stargate Worlds Closed Beta Registration Now Open I liked the movie. There were a few good episodes of the show. I actually enjoyed playing the Table Top RPG game based on the world. So I'm actually kind of excited about this new MMO. Not sure if it will be able to addict me to MMOs, but it will get my cash when it launches. Just as it will get my time if I am chosen for the Beta. I say chosen just for the fact that the registration form doesn't ask for anything more than your connection speed. Read More…

Spyro movie pwning theatres near you!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 29th of April 2008 - 05:25 PM ]
Variety says Spyro movie is in the works. If you didn't know, the Spyro franchise is having a new game roll out for it's Decaversay. That's 10th for those who don't get me here. It looks like it could be pretty decent if they continue on the path there are on now. Good news for any of you out there that loved the game and wished for another. But on top of that, it has been released that there is a CGI film in the works for this game as well. Not too many details on it other than the fact that it has been announced. Read More…
