In Case You Missed Out, Here's Everything You Need To Know For Injustice 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
As Injustice 2 is just about to launch, it is time to get a full recap on all of Injustice 2's ins and outs so we are all completely ready for launch We are a week out from the launch of Injustice 2 and it feels like we've seen and heard all there is for the game already. Outside of the finer details of the story in the game and specific gear we can collect, NetherRealm Studios has given us quite a lot to go on to make up our minds on if we are going to give the game a go here on the 16th. Hells, we only have a few more DLC characters to get shown off for Injustice 2 and we would have the whole package. I'm going to guess that we won't see those until well after launch but there is still a week and a lot planned up to then, so that may be changed up. Read More…

Even More Rumors For The Next Assassin’s Creed Title Have Popped Up
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
New rumors for the next Assassin’s Creed title give it a name change, story details, and an RPG-like system for Assassin’s Creed now It is time to add even more rumors out there for the next Assassin’s Creed title that is on its way to us at some point. I am almost certain that all of the secrecy that Ubisoft has behind this title is one of the driving forces behind all of this, but that isn't why you are here right now. You want to know what could be possibly going on with the next Assassin’s Creed title. You may have noticed that I left off the Empire subtitle that was the previous rumored name from before. Street Fighter V Adds A New Character Into The Mix For The 2nd Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The third character for Street Fighter V's second season of DLC has been revealed and adds a new-ish character into Street Fighter V that has only been in lore The next fighter to join Street Fighter V has been announced and shown off. This would be the next fighter at least in the second season of DLC that will bring a full six new fighters into the mix here and now we get to meet Ed. Not the most unique of names that Capcom could have come up with, but given how he's been introduced in the past, it makes total sense on how and why he is coming to Street Fighter V here when the next DLC drops. Whenever that may be though, but it is coming to the PS4 and PC versions of the game so there is at least that. Read More…

Walk Into The Danger Zone With Agents Of Mayhem's Franchise Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Agents Of Mayhem has been released to introduce us further to the Agents Of Mayhem characters that we've already met once Here we go with some more for Agents Of Mayhem and this time for those who have not been able to get all the ins and outs since E3 last year, we get a solid look at three of the characters in the game that we've seen before. Don't think these are the only characters coming to the game as I know that Volition has many others in the works and already there for us, but these seem to be the big ones and the first three recruited into the organization in the game's lore. We still have plenty of time to get to know the rest of the characters for Agents Of Mayhem as we wait for August 15th to roll around and the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but here we go with what Deep Silver wants us to see for now. This Week In Video Games 5/1/17 — 5/5/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was one of the more exciting weeks for video games that we've had in quite some time now wasn't it? I know it was for me as we had a whole lot get shown off this week and we also had Darksiders III get an official announcement out there. We also had a lot more hype for Friday The 13th: The Game and a look at the full roster for Injustice 2 and some of the new DLC that will be coming for it. All of that and a few reviews for a few video games that have made a whole lot of page space on the site here over the last few months and years. Read More…

Review — Guardians Of The Galaxy — Tangled Up In Blue
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Guardians Of The Galaxy — Tangled Up In Blue. This is the first episode of Telltale's version of Guardians Of The Galaxy. Here's our review on how they did With Guardians Of The Galaxy being the big thing right now in the Marvel film universe, it makes sense that we would see the first episode of the new episodic game release here to add to the whole experience. It is not linked to the film or comics, outside of the basics, and is completely something from Telltale Games for us to experience and have fun with before, after, and for a while after we catch the film. We do only have the first episode of this Guardians Of The Galaxy experience so far, but we've had our chance to give it all a whirl and see just how they did. Read More…

Darksiders III Shows How Fury Can Get Rid Of Sloth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. It looks like Gunfire Games is going to skip that usual procession as now we have some gameplay to gaze upon as we wait for the THQ Nordic to give us the full release sometime next year. Read More…

Injustice 2's First Three DLC Characters Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Some of the Injustice 2 speculation can be put to rest as the first three of nine DLC characters coming to Injustice 2 have been revealed It looks like the full roster for Injustice 2 has been set down already and now we get to venture into the DLC character world of the game. We do that here today as NetherRealm Studios has just dropped the first trailer showing off the first three characters we will get here on May 16th or some time afterwards. There have been nine spoken of for the full DLC release on the PS4 and Xbox One, but these three happen to be the one you get for Injustice 2 if you want to only pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition and nothing more. So it is time to take note and see if you need to upgrade or chance any of those pre-orders. Read More…

ELEX Is Bringing Us Some Berserker Rage On Magalan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Berserker faction for ELEX has been shown off here and now we get to see just how they will be using Elex in the massive ware between factions Not long ago we had our first taste of ELEX's prologue and were able to see this interesting world that Piranha Bytes was setting up for us in a mixed fantasy and Sci-Fi universe where everyone is out to claim precious resources. The main resource being that of the title that each faction can use to their own needs and turn the battle in their favor. Maybe you caught wind of ELEX or maybe you didn't. Read More…

Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More…

Go Behind The Scenes With The Surge & Learn More Of The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
A behind the scenes video for The Surge has been released and it gives us more insight into all of the things going on in The Surge that we've questioned In just under two weeks we will be playing The Surge on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC depending on your choice. While we've seen a lot for this action-RPG title so far, I know I've been left with quite a few questions that have been left unanswered by Deck 13 in a few different arenas. One of them being the main focus of The Surge's combat in terms of the limb severing system. It's been mentioned so many times and "shown" just as often but for the life of me I have yet to figure it out based on what we've been given. Read More…

Call Of Duty: WWII Had A Huge Reveal & Here's A Breakdown
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We've had the official Call Of Duty: WWII reveal but that wasn't the only thing shown off for Call Of Duty and it looks like more zombies Last week we all had a nice showing of Call Of Duty: WWII with the huge reveal event that showed us just how Sledgehammer Games was going to take the franchise back it its roots and era that started it all. We had an amazing trailer shown off, you can see it below, and a lot of praise thrown around but also mixed in were quite a few other tidbits that may have been glossed over or missed. I'm sure Activision doesn't want that to have happened and that is why I am here to bring you what we know for Call Of Duty: WWII right now and up until November 3rd when the game will land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC around the world. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is here and it shows a nice remastered level from Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strike Back We all knew that the fun pun would be coming here for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as that has been a bit of a staple in the franchise since as long as I can remember. No reason to stop now as Vicarious Visions gets to bringing us all of the fun titles in this bundle yet again. All with the updated visuals and effects that we could expect while keeping the Crash Bandicoot fun and wonder for the rest of us on the PS4. Read More…

Get Ready To Fight The Invasion As Prey Is About To Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The latest trailer for Prey has been released and shows us even more gameplay that the Prey demo has yet to offer all to get us excited Only a few more days and we'll be playing Prey in its full and final version. Well as final as it can be as of May 5th as there is already word of a day one patch going to be needed from Arkane Studios to make sure the game is running and top performance, but that seems to be the norm nowadays given the certification process for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of games. I guess technically the PC versions as well as I am sure that Bethesda already had those physical versions of Prey put to disc, if they still do that, and that Steam has its own way to handle updates instead of them just pushing it all out. None the less, we have here today what will most likely be the final trailer for Prey before it launches on this Friday. Read More…

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Shows Off Some Infinity Stone Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
New Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite gameplay is here to show off all of those newly announced characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite as well as one of the Infinity Stones We just had a few more characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite revealed to us as well as part of the overall story we can expect in the game's story mode, but now it is time to see them all in action just a bit. There were another eight characters added in and now we get to see seven more of them in action here with the latest update and gameplay trailer that Capcom has given us all to enjoy. Yes, I said seven as we don't get to see Rocket Raccoon any more in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite than we have already but at least we get to see Ultron a bit more in action as well as how all of the returning characters have been mixed up as we wait until September 19th to get our hands on the game for our PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
