Get Ready For A New Tactical-Adventure With Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of March 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
A new tactical-adventure game, Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden, has been announced and Mutant Year Zero aims to bring us a unique take on the post-human Earth We had a nice tease a few weeks back from Funcom that they were working on something new and now it looks like the cat is out of the bag as Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has been announced and coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. At least it is safe to assume that this was what they were teasing even if they are not directly developing it like other titles in their wheelhouse. That part is being done by The Bearded Ladies, a team that consists of some pretty talented people from many of our favorite past titles like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Kickstarter campaign for The Beast Inside is in full swing and now gamers who were interested in The Beast Inside can help fund the game and see what could be coming Here we go with another video game trying to get off the ground through Kickstarter, as the campaign for The Beast Inside is underway. Well, it has been underway for a few days now, but I would be remiss if I did not pass the information along to you so you too can help Illusion Ray get the funds needed to finish up the game. I say finish up as it does look like The Beast Inside has had a whole lot of work already done on it and even if the Kickstarter fails, I am sure there will be a release from Movie Games at some point down the line. Someone Or Something Seems To Know Everything In Q.U.B.E. 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Q.U.B.E. 2 is here and it sheds a bit more light on just what could be going on in Q.U.B.E. 2 in terms of the story We have just under two weeks until Q.U.B.E. 2 launches, March 13th, and there are still a whole lot of questions that need answering. More on my personal side than anything as Toxic Games has done a decent job so far for the general information, but questions nonetheless. Yes, they would most likely spoil a lot of the fun of Q.U. Review — Immortal Redneck
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Immortal Redneck. This quirky game has made its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One now. Here is our review of Immortal Redneck Last year, some gamers out there had a chance to pick up and play Immortal Redneck when it launched on the PC. Here we are under a year later and the game is out there again with CremaGames bringing it on over to the consoles as well. Sadly, we missed out on Immortal Redneck the first time around but I guess that is why we are back with a review of the new-ish version of the game as it hops onto the PS4 and Xbox One. It is another roguelike title that may be added into your list for the low price of $19. Read More…

ESRB Is Now Adding An “In-Game Purchases” Label To The List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
The ESRB is taking steps toward helping us all know when video games have extra purchases in the mix, as ESRB will add a label for it Get ready to start seeing a new label from the ESRB on your video games in the coming days as it looks like the organization will be starting to label games with “In-Game Purchases” now. All of which is a response to the most recent issues gamers have had out there with studios and publishers adding in the options to pay real-world money for in-game items or bonuses. No titles were named directly, but I know many people, the ESRB included, are looking in the direction of Star Wars Battlefront II there. Read More…

Biomutant's Creation Process Is More Expansive Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
During the PC Gamer Weekender more of Biomutant was shown off and it looks like the character and weapons of Biomutant will have many combinations mixed in Last week we all had a nice treat as THQ Nordic released a small gameplay trailer for Biomutant that was filled with some elements that felt a little out of context. Not for the game itself, but how it was strung together just did not make much sense but still made the game look cooler. As it turns out, this was a gameplay trailer that was built off a full presentation Experiment 101 had during the PC Gamer Weekender where they went further into a few things for Biomutant. Get Ready For All The Mayhem You Can Cause With Vehicles In Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Another look at the vehicles of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see a few more of the ‘rides’ we will get to have when Far Cry 5 launches Here we go with even more for Far Cry 5 as we have yet another look at the vehicles we will be using in the game to bring down all kinds of insanity on that cult out there in Montana. We all knew it was going to be a thing as it really is part of the franchise that Ubisoft has crafted here, but we needed to have another reminder of what is going to be going on. That and we are heading out into the mid-western wilds of the United States where things can get a bit crazier than any of those other areas that Far Cry has done before. Read More…

Nightmarchers Is Still Marching On & Building To Be Better
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Even though the Fig campaign for Nightmarchers has failed, it looks like the team is still moving forward to make Nightmarchers and to make it better Last week we saw Nightmarchers Fig campaign come to an end and then the latest video for one of the gods in the game. Sadly, it did not look like the funding goal was met but that has not kept Wyrmbyte Studios down as they are pushing forward with development and taking in all of the feedback and criticisms they received to make it a better game. Although this does look like we may not see a final version of Nightmarchers until the end of 2018 or possibly even 2019. It is how games go sometimes, but they are rolling with the punches it seems and not just abandoning the idea and title. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 2/20/18 — 2/23/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of February 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Sometimes you have to love short weeks as they give you more time to play our video games, but sometimes they seem to be filled with less news and true updates for our games. This was one of those weeks, but we did get to press right on with it. Not only did it give us a chance to review Past Cure for everyone, it also brought us some new updates for Biomutant, Far Cry 5, and a few other video games. Read More…

The Zombies Are Coming So Get Ready To Throw Anything
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A new VR experience, Throw Anything, is coming to our homes soon and we can get a taste of what to expect here for Throw Anything right now If there is one thing that gamers love with VR it has to be zombies and weird experiences with them. At least that has to be the thought here with Throw Anything that is coming from VisualLight. I mean, Throw Anything is a new VR title heading to Early Access on February 28th here that will place us in a high-rise room that has zombies climbing up to it and our only defense is to literally do what the title of the game says. Thankfully, said title also means that we can indeed hurl anything and everything at the zombies to stop them. Read More…

Far Cry 5’s Ecology Is More Than Just Set Dressing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Another look at the wildlife of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see just how we will get to hunt them or be hunted when we dive into Far Cry 5 If there is one thing that the franchise has been known for before Far Cry 5, it is the fact that there will be some fun interactions with wildlife in the game. Sure, before now some of the games have only included them in to make the world feel a bit more realistic, but Ubisoft knows that is not the only aspect we want in the games. We want to be able to hunt them down or to have to add another concern to our list as we are trying to just enjoy the game. Read More…

Face Down The Curse Of The Pharaohs In Assassin’s Creed Origins Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Have a look at Assassin’s Creed Origins’ third major content DLC as the map gets expanded and undead are added into Assassin’s Creed Origins to round it out It may have been pushed back slightly, but the next major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins is on the way and hitting us on March 13th to make the world a bigger and darker place. This is the Curse Of The Pharaohs DLC and it sounds pretty dark in general and now Ubisoft has taken the time to fully tell us what will be coming with it all. That and, as usual, we have a new trailer of gameplay to look at for the expansion of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Read More…
