Left Alive Has A Solid Release Date Set Down With New Editions
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 10th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for Left Alive has been set now and we can look to pick up one of Left Alive’s mechs in a Collector’s Edition There have been a few questions on when or if Left Alive was going to be hitting the Western shores and now we have a final answer. As it turns out, it will be hitting the PS4 and PC via Steam on March 5th. I had little doubt on this as it would have made little sense for Square Enix not to bring it here, but now we have a final date to look for as well as a few other fun bits for Left Alive as well. There are also a few cool and different editions of the game heading our way in physical and digital forms. Read More…

Go Even Further Into The Sea Titans Map Of Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
A new and massive level of gameplay for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden has been shown off recently and gives us more insight into Mutant Year Zero’s Sea Titans map Last week we had a nice little look at Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden's Sea Titans map from the game. By nice little I mean we had about twenty minutes of gameplay to watch from The Bearded Ladies for the map. It is little as we are back at the same map but this time Funcom is driving and showing us about an hour's worth of footage for Mutant Year Zero in that same location. It is apparently a lot larger than we all would think. Read More…

Get To Know More Of The Charred Council Before Playing Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
New lore videos for Darksiders III are coming and the first one out gives us a recap and look at The Charred Council that governs Darksiders thus far It feels strange to me to know that Darksiders III is going to be some gamer's first introduction to the franchise on November 27th. Some due to age and not being able to fully enjoy the titles since THQ Nordic was even around and others who have only started to pay attention since Gunfire Games took over. No matter the case, there are some new gamers coming in and they most likely missed out on the story from before. They need to be brought up to speed on just what is going on in Darksiders III before they set out to save the world with Fury. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new version of Borderlands 2 is coming this holiday season to take us deeper into the immersion with Borderlands 2 VR now It looks like it has finally happened as Gearbox Software has announced their next title to come to us and it is Borderlands 2 VR. You were most likely hoping for the true third to the franchise, but it looks like we are taking a dive into the VR side of it all. You will need to have a PSVR system as it is currently only listed for that platform there, but at least you will be able to play Borderlands 2 again in a new way. Not that it is much different than a normal first-person shooter, but there will be a few new things here to make sure you bite onto this little lure. Read More…

It has been a fun ride so far and now we are here with the next to final episode of it all from Big Bad Wolf. Lickers Are Back & Giving Claire A Horrible Experience In Resident Evil 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
More gameplay for the Resident Evil 2 Remake is out now and it takes us all the way back to one of Resident Evil 2’s terrifying enemies the Lickers There was no doubt that the Lickers would be back in full swing for the Resident Evil 2 Remake as they were such an iconic creature the first time around. We have seen little bits here and there to get us all excited for them and now Capcom has allowed for some extra gameplay footage to be out there to show off how much more they will haunt our dreams. Also while showing off that the classic scene from Resident Evil 2 will be held up to pretty much the same standards we expect and have seen before. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The next developer diary for Control is here to walk us through both the new and old directors for the Federal Bureau of Control We are back with yet another developer diary for Control here and this one takes a nice dive into the powers that were and will be in charge of the FBC in the game. We have already met one as that will be the main character we are playing as in the game, but until now we have only had a few short glimpses of what Remedy has set up as the former director of the organization. All with the dark and shadowy presence of the Cigarette Smoking Man from The X-Files. Read More…

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more week of talking about all of these video games in the bag as we head off to the weekend. A wonderful time for us to catch up on all of those titles we may have missed all to get ready for when Red Dead Redemption 2 and Hitman 2 drop on us soon. It will also let us dive into other video games like Mega Man 11 and Life Is Strange 2 as we may have missed out in the mix of it all. I know that is along the lines of what I will be doing as well as other things. Read More…

New Darksiders III Gameplay Shows Off Why Laziness Will Not Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
More footage of Darksiders III’s Sloth is here to show off more of the story leading up to the fight and just how it can go down in Darksiders III We have even more gameplay for Darksiders III here to share this week and it may seem a bit familiar. We get to see that good old fight between Fury and Sloth again, but this time without the skipping and obfuscation that Gunfire Games put on the first time. You know, the stuff that keeps story spoilers away from Darksiders fans who want to experience the game completely the first time. Take that as your first "spoiler alert" here as this does show off a bit of the game's story and other bits that THQ Nordic should have held back on. Read More…

A new collection, Kingdom Hearts — The Story So Far, has been announced and it will obviously tell you the full story of Kingdom Hearts… so far I am going to be honest here, I saw this coming and now it is here as we have the Kingdom Hearts — The Story So Far collection announced and coming to PS4 on October 30th. The Battle For Earth Intensifies As Yugi Muto Enters Jump Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
A new character is on display for Jump Force as the YuGiOh universe joins in and brings a new fighting style into the mix for Jump Force The roster keeps growing for Jump Force as we add another character and franchise to the list with a few other things in tow. Yugi Muto from the fame of YuGiOh has been placed into the game now by Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco and will do more than just summon things to fight for him. Well, that may not be completely true as that is all we get to see here. Nonetheless, we have the IP added into Jump Force and will get to see how he will use the Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and the all-mighty Slifer the Sky Dragon to save Earth from whatever is causing the issues there. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here to show us what we may have missed for Mutant Year Zero out of Gamescom this year It is almost as if The Bearded Ladies have way too much gameplay to give us for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden as we are back yet again with another twenty new minutes of it. At least twenty new minutes of it if you did not get to go to Gamescom and give this new map a try. This is the Sea Titans map in Mutant Year Zero and it shows us just how tactical we will need to be to make it through the game or to just survive in general. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here and it is another classic that will not be able to be used in multiplayer for SoulCalibur VI The next, and most likely last, character for SoulCalibur VI is here to take in and it is another from the franchise history to torment us all. Inferno is back in and updated by Bandai Namco for the game just in time for its October 19th release date. It was something that had been rumored already for SoulCalibur VI and now we have confirmation and the ability to see the character in action. Also with a little bit of what looks like a story scene mixed in. Read More…

Review — Life Is Strange 2 — Roads
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Life Is Strange 2 — Roads. This is the first episode of the latest Life Is Strange. Here is our review on how they did The wait is over and we can finally jump back into the weird world that DontNod has crafted with Life Is Strange 2. It is not a continuation of the original story, but a completely different one just set in the same universe and timeline you made from the first title. It may sound a bit confusing if you have not been following along with everything for Life Is Strange 2, but that is why we are here. We are also here to play the game and let you know if it is worth your time and money. Read More…
